<p><em>Week 2 brought us some competitive games with some players stepping up in the clutch. The players below were key contributors in their teams victory, and have definitely put the area on notice of their game. These players have now gotten the attention and the season is looking bright for every one of them and their teams for the season. <p><strong>Jaden Shelton | RB | George Ranch | 2024</strong></p>

<p>Shelton took the game over in the second half, having big touchdown runs of 69 yards and 40 yards, flipping the momentum of the game and solidifying the teams win. On his runs, Shelton showed his burst, shooting through the gaps and getting to the edge showing his speed. Shelton finished the game with 15 carries for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns.</p>

<p>Marsh showed his skill once again in this game vs Kingwood. The explosiveness and playmaking ability with the ball in his hand cannot be understated. In this game, Marsh returned a punt for a 79 yard touchdown, and had a catch and run for an 82 yard touchdown run where he broke out of multiple tackles and proceeded to outrun the entire defense. Marsh and a stat line of 6 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown.</p>

<p>Blocker once again showed why he is a top back in the area. He went into this game on a mission and did everything in his power to help get his team the victory. Blocker showed his vision, strength, and breakaway speed on some big runs. Blocker totaled over 200+ yards and 5 touchdowns, including 4 in the first half.</p>

<p>Nnanna came out for this game ready to leave his mark on it. Nnanna was the favorite target, the safety valve, and the deep threat for his quarterback. He hauled in 10 catches for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the game winner in OT. Nnanna showed his game changing potential and had the stands on their feet on his 89 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. </p>

<p>This will be a name that we will be hearing for some time after the performance he put up against Katy. Mack came into the game in the 2nd quarter and made the most out of every touch, showing his toughness and vision as a runner. Mack had over 150 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns. Another special talent emerging for the Eagles.</p>
