Landon Zayas || K || 5’6 || 150 || Bountiful High School || 2024
Zayas made three field goals that helped Bountiful beat Viewmount. He came up big for the Red Hawks with a 37 and 43-yard field goals for the game’s first six points. Zayas also knocked down a field goal from 35 yards out that was crucial in the 28-27 win. The Rad Hawks kicker has now made six field goals and seven extra points.
Imaji Hagan || K || 5’10 || 218 || Herriman High School || 2024
Hagan had a huge week four for Herriman, where he hit two field goals and all three of his extra points. The Mustangs won big over Westlake, with Hagan hitting field goals from 40 yards out to end the third quarter and then an 18-yarder to close out the win. He’s made three field goals and 13 extra points to begin his senior campaign.
Preston Rasmussen || K || 5’9 || 155 || Corner Canyon High School || 2024
The Chargers have had the state’s most productive offense and one of the most efficient kickers. Rasmussen had made a state-leading 24 extra points heading into week five. He can consistently knock down kicks and has made over five in each game of the season. If the Chargers offense does stall more in the second half of the season, they have a reliable kicker who can bail them out.
Kayden Racine || ATH || 6’2 || 185 || Murray High School || 2024
Murray nearly beat Jordan in week four, and they were only in the game late because of the big play made by Racine. The Beetdiggers scored with just under three minutes to play, giving Jordan a 14-point lead, but it was quickly cut back to seven as Racine had a 70-yard kickoff. During his clutch return, Racine showcased his great speed and shiftiness.
Ethan Nielson || ATH || 5’7 || 155 || Payson High School || 2024
Nielson helped the Lions knock off Mountain View 27-0. A week four win for the Lions didn’t always seem like a sure thing, as they led 7-0 going into halftime. Nielson made the big, game-changing play as he scored a 97-yard kickoff on the first play of the second half. This big momentum swing was only possible because of Neilson’s vision and game-changing speed.
Isaac Mansaray || ATH || 5’9 || 160 || Bonneville High School || 2025
Mansaray played a huge role in Bonneville’s 54-43 victory over Woods Cross. The game was close late in the fourth quarter, with Woods Cross having just scored with under six minutes to go, cut the lead to less than a touchdown when Mansaray made the play of the game with a 95-yard return on the ensuing kickoff. His ability to separate from defenders is elite and helped him seal a Lakers win.
