Vance County accepted the challenge as the game was decided in the final minute of the game. Vance County secured the victory over Southern Durham, with a 14 - 12 decision. Javion displayed good arm strength on a few short-range throws. He did a good job of delaying the snap counts in attempt to draw the defense offsides. He displayed good speed and vision when he tucked it and ran, while scoring a TD.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='772776' first='Shamir' last='Sheppard'] - RB, 5'10" 225</strong>. Shamir followed blockers while looking for an opening to gain yards. He displayed good power and balance while running inside throughout the game. He did not go down after initial contact was made. Shamir continued to drive his legs after contact was made to gain additional yardage, scoring a TD and a two-point conversion to secure the victory for his team. Shamir's field performance should generate recruiting interest for him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1050683' first='Zahbir' last='Goggins'] - RB, 5'9" 240</strong>. Zahbir followed blockers while looking for an opening to gain yards. Antoine ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches in traffic. He displayed speed to accelerate past defenders after the catch to gain additional yardage. He plays on both sides of the ball for his team and is receiving recruiting interest.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1050590' first='Charles' last='Doyle'] - OL, 6'3" 240</strong>. Charles displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. Tyson displayed good arm strength on short range throws. He displayed good ball velocity and accuracy on throws on target to the receivers. He displayed good speed when he tucked it and ran to avoid being sacked.
