Without any further ado, here’s my list of top playmakers from week four of the season.
Highlights
At the top of my list of notable performers is Brayden Waller Brayden Waller 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR TCA | 2025 State TN , a 6-foot-3, 170-pound wide receiver at Trinity Christian Academy. Waller made a significant offensive impact with the Lions this past Friday, assisting his team in a 64-42 win over Fayette Academy. In addition to excellent footwork, what I like about Waller is his route-running and ability to quickly veer into position to haul in quick passes. Waller proved he can maneuver the field, avoid contact and consistently use his breakaway speed to escape defenders in coverage and blast into the endzone for touchdowns. I’m additionally impressed with Waller’s athleticism and ability to dive for passes.
Highlights
I am additionally impressed with Elijah Robb Elijah Robb 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Pope Prep | 2024 State TN , a 5-foot-9, 200-pound running back at Pope John Paul II High School. Robb made his presence known on the ground for the Knights in a 40-7 win over The Webb School last Friday, picking up 183 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. In addition to great size, speed and physical edge, what makes Robb so explosive on the offensive side of the ball is his ability to execute quickly off the snap, maneuver the pocket and stay on his feet despite heavy pressure and contact from the defense. Another aspect of Robb that impresses me is his durability and ability to use bursts of speed to escape into the backfield.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Domonic Seiber Domonic Seiber 6'3" | 230 lbs | LB Lewis Co. | 2024 State TN , a 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker at Lewis County High School. Seiber was one of the more impactful defensive weapons on the Panthers’ roster during last Friday’s 34-6 win over Hickman County High School. What impresses me most about Seiber is his ability to quickly punish the offense, apply heavy pressure on the quarterback and make commanding stops. Another aspect of Seiber that catches my attention is his physicality and ability to both match up against the offensive line and break free of coverage to make significant tackles and sacks.
Another skilled playmaker to keep an eye on is Clarence Cobbins Clarence Cobbins 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Springfield | 2024 State TN , a 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back at Springfield High School. Cobbins was an important defensive standout for the Yellow Jackets in their close 34-33 win over Station Camp last Friday. In addition to outstanding size, speed and toughness, what stands out about Cobbins is his field awareness, ability to read the offense like a book and his ability to pick off the quarterback. I’m additionally fond of how Cobbins utilizes bursts of speed to escape into the backfield. On the other side, Cobbins proved he could ram through the pocket and maneuver the field off of kick returns.
Also establishing himself on the field is Amari Lethgo Amari Lethgo 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Knox. Halls | 2026 TN , a 5-foot-11, 180-pound quarterback at Knoxville Halls High School. Lethgo was an offensive gamechanger at the helm of the Red Devils’ offense, helping his team to a 31-0 blowout win over Hardin Valley Academy last Friday. What impresses me about Lethgo is his footwork, ability to escape contact and his consistent passing, proving he can get the ball out of his hands and into the hands of his capable receivers. Another aspect of Lethgo that caught my attention was his ability to deceive the defense with his sudden movement and break free into the backfield.
Coming in at number six on my list of impactful prospects is Trey Wilhite Trey Wilhite 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Lenoir City | 2024 State TN , a 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete at Lenoir City High School. Wilhite made his presence known this past Friday, assisting his team in a 35-0 win over King’s Academy. What stands out about Wilhite is his breakaway speed as he can withstand contact in the pocket and push into enemy territory. With great physicality and durability, Wilhite can stay on his feet and consistently break tackles to advance offensive production on the ground. On the other side, Wilhite was a crucial defensive playmaker, showing off strong positioning in the backfield as well as the ability to read the passing game, and pick off the quarterback.
