#PRZTN POTW: Week Four Top Performers
In this article:
Tons of options were on the table for our Prep Redzone TN players of the week this time around with several tough choices being made but below is your Week Four Top Performers.
Offensive Player of the Week
A one man wrecking crew for the Fighting Irish in their commanding 56-21 victory over Brentwood Academy last week, Crump was unstoppable as he was able to do just about anything he wanted, both through the air and on the ground. Crump produced seven total touchdowns on the evening, easily putting forth his best game yet of his high school career and placing his Fighting Irish team inside our latest PRZTN Private School Top 10 rankings. If Crump continues to put up numbers like this, Mr. Football could be in the cards for this Mid-Tennessee signal caller. Game Stats: 9-12 passing for 245 yds & 4 TD’s (15 carr. for 177 yds & 3 TD’s)
Highlights
Defensive Player of the Week
Kenderrius Robertson
Kenderrius Robertson
Robertson had his breakout party last Friday in the Tigers 60-0 win over Bluff City where he was a menace in the backfield, being a force against the run while producing 5 total sacks on the night. The Mitchell defense has been very good so far this season with Robertson being a major force in the trenches. Recruiting is a bit sparse at the moment for this West Tennessee talent but if Robertson can continue playing like last Friday, his stock will rise and coaches may start paying attention. Game Stats: 6 tcks, 5 TFL, 1 FF, 1 FR & 5 sacks

Positional POTW
QB: ‘25 Cooper Vailes – TCA: 17-21 passing for 410 yds & 4 TD’s
– Vailes had a top tier target in Waller to lean on and he delivered but this junior quarterback had to put the ball in place for his star wideout to succeed and he did just that, playing his best game yet in a Lions uniform.

RB: Brian Shields Brian Shields 5'10" | 165 lbs | ATH First Assembly | 2024 TN – First Assembly: 12 carr. for 297 yds & 5 TD’s
– The Crusaders sit at 4-0 on the season and Shields is a big reason why. Last week was his best performance yet but this Memphis area playmaker has been playing at a high level from Game One and now sits as a sleeper Mr. Football candidate.

WR/TE: ‘25 Brayden Waller Brayden Waller 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR TCA | 2025 State TN – TCA: 11 rec. for 341 yds & 4 TD’s
– All this guy does is put up monster games! Waller is a pass catching machine that dominated in his team’s victory last week as was unguardable and difficult to stop in the red zone.

OL: Father Ryan Fighting Irish
– Paving the way for two 100 yard rushers, including it’s quarterback, the Fighting Irish offensive line had a stellar showing against a very talented Brentwood Academy team. Led by studs up front in Max Kidd Max Kidd 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Father Ryan | 2024 State TN , Andrew Vick Andrew Vick 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Father Ryan | 2026 TN and others, the Father Ryan O-line had it’s best game in the last two years while establishing itself as possibly one of the best O-line units on the Private School ranks.

ATH: Trey Wilhite Trey Wilhite 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Lenoir City | 2024 State TN – Lenoir City: 19 carr. for 190 yds & 2 TD’s (77 yds passing, 1 TD); 9 tcks, 2 PD & 1 Int on Def.
– The 2nd time making our top honors list this year, Wilhite continues to produce at a high level and be the team’s go-to guy on both sides of the ball to make plays. The Panthers senior has played very well so far this year that he is pushing his stock higher to make it into the college game.

DL: Domonic Seiber Domonic Seiber 6'3" | 230 lbs | LB Lewis Co. | 2024 State TN – Lewis Co.: 6 tcks, 4 TFL, 7 QB hurries & 3 sacks
– The Panthers won a big region contest on the road last week with Seiber playing a major role in the team’s defensive efforts. This was his best game yet of the season and maybe a showing he can build on for more top performances like the rest of the way.

LB: Jaylon Smith Jaylon Smith 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Sheffield | 2024 State TN – Sheffield: 11 tcks, 5 TFL & 4 sacks
– Smith was everywhere on the field last Friday night for his Knights defense, especially in the opponent’s backfield where this West TN backer caused havoc all night long, producing four sacks and several tackles for loss.

DB: Clarence Cobbins Clarence Cobbins 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Springfield | 2024 State TN – Springfield: 4 tcks, 2 PD & 2 Int; 2 rec. for 22 yds & 1 TD (97 yd K.O. ret. for a TD)
– Cobbins put on a show last week during the Yellow Jackets 34-33 win over Station Camp as this Mid-TN defender was the main factor in the team’s victory, producing on both sides of the ball, including a big 97 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
