LB [player_tooltip player_id='680331' first='Tyquan' last='Rankin'] - Butler - Standing at 5'10 and 210 pounds, Tyquan was an absolute tackling machine from the middle linebacker position. Providence simply could not establish any kind of running attack, and he was a big reason why, shedding blocks of offensive linemen attempting to come off on the 2nd level and block him. Tyquan was the Defensive Player Of The Year in the Southwestern Conference last season, and he appears to be on his way there once again. He is a Class of 2024 prospect.

DL [player_tooltip player_id='693067' first='Jadyn' last='Farmer'] - Butler - If you want to talk about a dominant force on the interior of the defensive line, let's talk about [player_tooltip player_id='693067' first='Jadyn' last='Farmer']. A disruptive presence, Farmer stands at 6'5 and 275 pounds and plays with great leverage and strength. He has offers currently from Boston College. Charlotte, and Connecticut, and should honestly have more attention based on what I saw Friday Night. Farmer is a Class of 2025 prospect. I liked his ability to shed blocks and make solo tackles and sacks for losses in the backfield.

DB [player_tooltip player_id='895827' first='Phillip' last='Harris'] - Butler - The James Madison commit had a great night, as he took on the challenge of guarding Providence's best wide receiver in Alex Koulovatos. Alex had a pretty quiet night by his normal standard. Then at halftime, Phillip won homecoming king which is always a great honor as a senior. Then, he had a touchdown catch in the 2nd half on offense to top it all off. At 6'2 and 180 pounds, he has the natural talent to play early next year at JMU if the opportunity presents itself. He is a Class of 2024 prospect.

LB [player_tooltip player_id='126931' first='Billy' last='Wilkes'] - Providence - Wilkes has continued to be a tackling machine this season, and the Butler offensive line definitely had a focus on getting him cut off in the run game. When Wilkes was able to run free, he made several solo tackles in the run game to help keep the Panthers in the game through the first two and a half quarters. At 6'2 and 205 pounds, Wilkes has offers from Wingate, Stetson, and Campbell currently. He is a Class of 2024 prospect.

DB Spencer Makell - Providence - Though Butler found the majority of their success on the ground in this game, they did not have a huge passing game and Makell is a big reason for that. The talented Class of 2024 prospect showed good technique and speed throughout the game and didn't get a lot of balls thrown his way as a result. At 6'1 and 170 pounds, Makell has the size that colleges like as a corner on the outside. He has offers from Maine, Alabama A&M, NC A&T, Troy, and Adams State amongst others.
