Isom is an exciting player to watch. He has an elite skill set at the wide receiver position. He has great size at 6-3 195 lbs. He is a guy who I believe will thrive at the collegiate level. He is currently committed to Miami (Ohio). He’s had a man impressive career at Saginaw Heritage thus far and I expect him to be a playmaker this year as a senior.
Nathan Gersh Nathan Gersh 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Dexter | 2026 State MI | Linebacker | Dexter
Gersh caught my attention last year as he became the starting inside linebacker for Dexter as just a true freshman. Gersh has excellent size and strength for the position. He moves well and is good in coverage. Gersh was a standout on an excellent Dexter team last year. Gersh now had a full year of experience starting on varsity and has a chance to continue to get better and be very impactful for his team. Dexter is currently looking for their first win of the year and a big game from Gersh will be key tonight as they take on Bedford.
CJ Carr CJ Carr 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Saline | 2024 State MI | QB | Saline
Carr has had a great career at Saline. He is currently committed to Notre Dame. Carr & Saline are off to a great start this season and have hopes of winning a state title. CJ Carr CJ Carr 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Saline | 2024 State MI played outstanding last year in the playoffs and nearly lead Saline to an upset victory over Belleville in the second round of the playoffs. With Carr off to such a great start, a meeting against Belleville could be on the horizon. I will be keeping a close eye on him and Saline this year.
Isaiah Harris Isaiah Harris 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Saline | 2026 State MI | DE | Saline
I mentioned how Saline is off to such a great start. Harris has played a key part in that. Last year Harris played significant snaps for Saline as just a true freshman. This year he is one of their key defensive players. With a year experience and a year to grow and get stronger Harris has the potential to have a dominant breakout season for Saline. The type of season where he has tremendous stats and starts to get attention for many divison 1 programs. Harris can get off the ball in a hurry and is quick to recognize plays. He has a good spin move that he times well. I am a fan of his game and am anxious to see if now for he can help this Saline team go.
