On Saturday, I went to MICDS to see the Rams take on Westminster Christian Academy. While the game got off to a slow start, the Rams were able to eventually take over to cruise to a 40-14 victory. With that being said, I wanted to focus on my top performers from the game, starting with the offensive side of the ball.
Brian Gould
Brian Gould
Junior quarterback Brian Gould is a player that jumped onto my radar Saturday. As a passer, Gould completed 14/24 passes for 201 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He showed impressive arm strength which he used to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Gould also showed the ability to escape pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. He also showed the ability to tuck the ball and make plays with his legs when needed, running the ball 16 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Brian doesn’t currently hold any offers and seems to be mainly focused on baseball but he should still be a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
Henry Rohan Henry Rohan 6’1″ | 180 lbs | ATH MICDS | 2026 State MO was one of Gould’s go-to targets this past weekend. He finished the game with three receptions for a team-leading 98 yards. Rohan was able to use his speed to blow by defensive backs in the deep passing game. He also showed the ability to go up and catch passes at their highest point in contested catch situations. Rohan doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.
Another young MICDS receiver that impressed me on Saturday was Graham Faust Graham Faust 6’3″ | 180 lbs | ATH MICDS | 2026 State MO . Faust finished the game with six receptions for 97 yards. He proved to be a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. Faust was also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to get up the field and turn short passes into big gains. Graham has also yet to pick up his first offer but I expect him to attract some attention from college coaches as he continues to develop.
Highlights
Joining Faust and Rohan in the dangerous MICDS wide receiver trio was Gabe Weaver Gabe Weaver 6’5″ | 190 lbs | WR MICDS | 2026 State MO . Weaver had a solid game, catching five passes for 47 yards and a touchdowns. He is a long, athletic wide receiver that showed the ability to play both on the outside and in the slot. Weaver proved to be a smooth route runner, showing the ability to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He also showed that he has very reliable hands and had the speed to turn up the field to pick up yards after the catch. Weaver should be another young wide receiver on this MICDS roster for college coaches to play close attention to over the next few years.
Jeremiah Clay
Jeremiah Clay
Another MICDS skill player that impressed on Saturday was running back Jeremiah Clay. He finished the game with 15 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Clay showed impressive speed which he used to get around the edge and up the field to run away from the defense. He also showed strength in his running, showing the ability to break tackles without losing stride. Once he hit the open field, Clay also showed the ability to make defenders miss. Clay doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on during his senior year.
Davis Schukar Davis Schukar 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL MICDS | 2024 State MO is an offensive lineman that has been high on my radar for a while now and he continued to impress on Saturday. Schukar lined up at left tackle where he was dominant as a run blocker. He was very effective on down blocks, exploding out of his stance and driving his man out of the picture to create a lane for the ball carrier. Schukar also showed the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in open space. Davis currently holds a long list of offers and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
Highlights
Caden Collison
Caden Collison
In a game where not much could get going for the Westminster offense, Caden Collison was one player who was able to stand out. Collison finished the game with four catches for 71 yards. He lined up in the slot where he was able to use smooth breaks in his routes create separation from opposing defensive backs. Collison also showed reliable hands and the ability to use his speed to get up the field to pick up yards after the catch. Caden doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will be a player to keep an eye on this season.
