Lone Star Prospects to Watch 9-22-23

All are players with the potential to have big games and light up the Friday night skies. He uses his speed well to defeat blocks and impact both the run and the opposing passing attack. Ashe does a good job of rushing the passer and is a defensive lineman that will get his hands up to alter the throw. He is a nightmare to bring down after he has hauled in the football. Miller works his way open and punishes opposing defensive backs. Does a good job of getting open for his quarterback. Miller is a prospect with the talent and potential to produce big games every Friday night. He is a prospect to watch out for this week and he is a player I expect to have a strong season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413199' first='Mitch' last='Melton']-Linebacker-Conroe-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last season, Melton led Conroe in tackles, and he appears to be off to another solid start to the season. Melton is a linebacker that does a great job of defeating blocks and hauling down the ball carrier. Conroe is off to a strong start to the season and will be taking on the Woodlands this Friday night. Melton is a prospect on the defensive side of the ball to watch out for this week. He has the ability to cause plenty of problems for the Woodlands this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Issac Herrera-Athlete-Permian-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Herrera is a versatile prospect for Permian. He can shift from the wide receiver to the quarterback position on the offensive side of the ball. Herrera has speed and is difficult for opposing defenders to bring down. He is a dangerous player in the open field and seems to have a nose for the end zone. The Permian prospect is a player to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Drew Devillier-Quarterback-Plano East-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The future Rice Owl has a strong arm and is not afraid to keep the opposing secondary honest with the deep ball. Devillier knows when to get rid of the football and when to buy time in the pocket. He does a good job of reading the field and has the accuracy needed to fit the ball into some tight windows. The Plano East signal caller has the potential to have a big game this Friday night.
