Mishawaka traveled to Northridge for an in-conference battle, and these players impacted the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='644330' first='Novell' last='Miller'] - Mishawaka - RB - 5'10" 210lbs - 2025

Miller had another big night on the ground and helped wear down that Northridge front. He was as energetic and full of juice in the 4th as he was to start the game, so it was good to see a big workload didn't break him down or tire him out. On top of that, he hit an impressive 35-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. He broke an arm tackle in the second level, sidestepped a defender, and his eyes opened wide as he watched the Red Sea part. Untouched from there on out, but he earned that TD. His first TD on the night came from a simple dive over the top in the 1st half. A good performance for an upcoming back in his junior year.

Twitter: @Miller_Novell

[player_tooltip player_id='541839' first='Brady' last='Fisher'] - Mishawaka - ATH - 6'3" 215lbs - 2024

Fisher runs the ship for the triple-threat option offense, and he may just be their best overall athlete. I don't believe he's had all the chances to showcase his arm, but he can certainly move and do damage on the ground. He's a raw athlete who is just lengthy and flexible. He absorbs the hits and bounces right back up. He busted a 65-yard TD to start the night for the Cavemen. He finished the night capping a long 7-minute drive in the 4th QTR to shut down any comeback hopes from Northrdige with a TD from 3 yards out. An overall stellar athlete who has some mystery behind him.

Twitter: @Brady_Fisher23

[player_tooltip player_id='559782' first='Ethan' last='Bryce'] - Mishawaka - RB/DB - 5'11" 190lbs - 2024

Bryce is a good athlete who bounces around on both sides of the field. He's a rotational RB and has the athletic ability to thrive and make plays, which is what he did Friday. He's really quick and got the corner multiple times when he tried to bounce it to the outside. He converted a 2-point conversion by busting it to the outside and outrunning everyone to the edge. He had a handful of other good runs and did a good job reading and reacting to his keys. He's got good hands and has some untapped potential catching the ball. A good night for Bryce and the running game.

Twitter: @EBryce21

[player_tooltip player_id='616581' first='McClain' last='Miller'] - Northridge - RB - 6'2" 220lbs - 2024

Miller looks even better in person and was a big part of the offense's success as a whole. He's long, lengthy, and just does a good job running through arm tackles. There's a different vibe and level of explosion that the offense gets when Miller touches the ball. The more he touched the ball, the hotter he seemed to get too. It felt like they'd get into a rhythm and rotate him out, but maybe it was just from Mishawaka's stellar run D and trying to hit a big play with rotation. Nonetheless, Miller looked great on his opportunities and proved why he's a higher-ranked RB in the state going to North Dakota State.

Twitter: @McClainMiller1

[player_tooltip player_id='706224' first='Derek' last='Sherwood'] - Northridge - RB - 5'10" 190lbs - 2025

Sherwood is the change of pace back behind Miler and does a really good job. He's a different style of runner but knows his style well. He's got good vision and does a good job getting to the second level. He's an aggressive runner and has no issue taking on contact. In fact, he's the type of back who seems like he prefers it. He's strong and bounces off tackles more often than you'd think he should. He converted a 2-point conversion to get Northridge some momentum later in the game where he found a small crease and bounced off 2 would-be tacklers to get home for the conversion. Sherwood should be the workhorse next year when Miller graduates and they'll be in good hands.

Twitter: @DerekSherwood32

Chase Clark - Northridge - WR - 6'2" 190lbs - 2024

Clark has had a fantastic season to this point, and on Friday he continued that trend. While it wasn't his biggest performance in terms of numbers, he's consistent and reliable. If they wanted to throw the ball more, they could and Clark would thrive. Last week, he had just under 200 receiving yards and 2 TDs. Yesterday, he caught Northridge's only passing TD. It was a diving grab in the endzone where he adjusted his body in the air. A 14-yard TD reception where he slipped behind the LB and the ball was put in a place where only he could lay out and get it. Clark is Northridge's #1 receiver and has the talent to succeed on Saturdays if given a chance.

Twitter: @ChaseCl10161518

Mishawaka traveled to Northridge for an in-conference battle, and these players impacted the game.
