The season is officially off and running. All teams have now played at least one game and will do so until the end of their seasons. Unique about this weekend, we are fortunate enough to have four full days of games, starting Thursday and ending Sunday at Rutgers.

Middlesex features a trio of productive junior rushers leading the charge this season. Leading the way is [player_tooltip player_id='1001986' first='Dom' last='Parenti'], their quarterback, who seems to be the bell cow with 48 carries for 191 yards and a touchdown. When they need a big play or score it appears they turn to [player_tooltip player_id='1001984' first='Jax' last='Jarvis'], who has ran for 129 yards on 20 carries while scoring 5 times. When the Blue Jays need tough yardage and a change of pace they ride the wheels of [player_tooltip player_id='1001985' first='Jack' last='Killian'], who has 26 carries for 1 score. Together, the trio has gained 430 yards and 7 TDs on 94 totes. Like Jay-Z would say, Middlesex may have 99 problems but a back ain't one.

Looking to slow down this plethora of ball carriers will be [player_tooltip player_id='1001987' first='Luke' last='Pettersen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1001969' first='Aiden' last='Sangiray']. A junior, Peterson has totaled 22 tackles on the season. The more telling stat is that he has sacked the quarterback twice and hawked ball carriers behind the line 7 times while also forcing 1 fumble while on the defensive line. A talented runner from their Wing-T's fullback in his own right is senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1001969' first='Aiden' last='Sangiray']. Defensively he leads the team in 30 tackles (7 solo) and made 5 tackles for loss and one-half sack. This matchup ought to be a drag-it-out matchup against two bitter Group I foes.

Fort Lee features a thunder-and-lightning backfield that includes two senior ball carriers in [player_tooltip player_id='1001971' first='Aidan' last='Colon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1001970' first='Lenny' last='Colon']. Although I am unsure if they are blood brothers, these brothers-in-arms have slashed 20/175/2 and 16/212/3, respectively, on the ground. Together they have gained 387 of Bridgemen's total rushing yardage this year.

Opposing the tandem will be senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1001967' first='Emmanuel' last='Mingo']. Although his complete defensive statics are not readily available, we do know that he he has made 7 stops behind the line of scrimmage so far this year (2 sacks, 5 TFLs). Beyond this, he is an uber-athletic playmaker looking to build upon last year's 70.5 tackle campaign where he forced 1 fumble.
