Lamar senior quarterback Jordan Reaves Jordan Reaves 6’0″ | 190 lbs | ATH Houston Lamar | 2024 State TX had an impressive game, completing 14 of 20 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding a rushing touchdown in a victory over Heights. Reaves has a stout, lean athletic frame, he has the skill set to beat defenses when he gets outside the pocket but his ability to make timely throws has been key this season in Lamar’s undefeated start in 2023. Jordan is one the top players regardless of position in Houston, due to his ability to make the big play with his arm and get the football to his playmakers.
Derek (DJ) Lagway Derek (DJ) Lagway 6’3″ | 215 lbs | QB Willis | 2024 State TX , a senior quarterback from Willis High School and a University of Florida commit, displayed his skills with 18 completions on 24 attempts for 335 yards and an impressive six touchdowns. He also contributed as a rusher with a touchdown. DJ is known for his physicality, athleticism, strong arm, and ability to make all of throws on the route tree, including pushing the ball down the field. DJ stands tall in the pocket, he navigates clutter with ease and his ability to be on time with his throws makes him a lethal offensive weapon. Lagway has been on fire this season and seems to be getting hotter each week.

Trey Owens Trey Owens 6’4″ | 200 lbs | QB Cy Fair | 2024 State TX , a senior quarterback from Cy Fair High School and a Texas commit, delivered a remarkable performance by going 33 of 40 for 393 yards with five touchdowns. He also showcased his mobility with a rushing touchdown in a win over Stratford. The 6’5 215 pound gunslinger, has a big arm, he excels with his accuracy in the short to intermediate areas and his ability to navigate pocket pressure allows him to stay on his targets to deliver strikes downfield. Owens has been on a tear this season and is primed to stay hot heading into district play.
