- Corner Canyon Chargers
The Chargers are 4-1 after beating a formidable Syracuse team 42-14. Boston Snow and Tate Kjar Tate Kjar 5'10" | 150 lbs | WR Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT combined for nearly 300 yards, receiving in another impressive performance by Corner Canyon.
2. Skyridge Falcons
The Falcons are flying high off a 5-0 start. Skyridge defeated Riverton 58-10 in a complete week five performance. Carter Sheffield had three touchdowns, while Trevan McClellan had over 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
3. American Fork Caveman
The Caveman were stout from start to finish in their 28-0 win over the Bingham. Lucas Segura led American Fork with 12 tackles, while Jacob Eardley had over 90 yards on the ground and a touchdown to help their team move to 5-0 in 2023.
4. Lehi Pioneers
The Pioneers are undefeated after their 48-28 victory over Herriman. Devaughn Eka Devaughn Eka 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Lehi | 2026 State UT had over 145 yards rushing and a touchdown, while Paul Latu Paul Latu 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Lehi | 2025 State UT had 15 tackles
5. Mountain Ridge Sentinels
The Sentinels strong start continued with a big win in week five over Lone Peak 31-17. The Mountain Ridge defense was flying around the field, with Taylor Higham Taylor Higham 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Mountain Ridge | 2025 State UT and Tanner Dejong combining for 18 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns.
6. Pleasant Grove Vikings
The Vikings vaulted themselves into their fifth straight win with a great game and win against West Jordan. Pleasant Grove held West Jordan to seven points and has only given up 56 points through five games, in large part due to the strong play of Jake Closson.
7. Syracuse Titans
The Titans suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Corner Canyon. Syracuse is supremely talented, with big playmakers like Preston Haney Preston Haney 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Northridge | 2025 State UT and Jake Hopkins Jake Hopkins 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Syracuse | 2024 State UT making plays weekly.
8. Davis Darts
The Darts had an elite week fiver performance in their strong showing against Taylorsville. Tradon Bessinger Tradon Bessinger 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Davis | 2026 State UT had over 400 yards passing and four touchdowns, while Jordan Taula Jordan Taula 6'1" | 235 lbs | DL Davis | 2024 State UT had five tackles and a sack.
9. Herriman Mustangs
The Mustangs are 3-2, but both losses came to teams ranked in our top ten. Frederick Ta’ai is quickly approaching 1,000 yards on the season, while Ephraim Asiata Ephraim Asiata 6'2" | 205 lbs | LB Hunter | 2024 State UT is one of the state’s top pass rushers with six sacks
10. Copper Hills Grizzlies
The Grizzlies beat Westlake 15-6 to improve to 3-1. Triston Hoggan Triston Hoggan 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Copper Hills | 2024 State UT and Donovan Arnold Donovan Arnold 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Copper Hills | 2024 State UT combined for 16 tackles and two sacks as they helped stop the Thunder’s offense.
