Jazz Coleman Jazz Coleman 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Speedway | 2026 State IN – Speedway – ATH – 5’11” 185lbs – 2026
Coleman is on route to be special. He’s easily one of the best athletes in the 2026 class and continues to get better each week he’s stepping on the field. Playing both ways is really helping him see the game better on defense. Typically you don’t like your DBs racking up tackles, but when they’re teleporting it’s a bit different. Coleman is such a smooth athlete and does a good job twisting, bending, and flexing. He’s got a great first step coming downhill and does a good job keeping his receiver in front of him. Through 4 games he’s sitting at 333 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD. He’s added 8 catches as well. However, defensively is where he’s starting to dominate. He’s always had the potential and ability, now he’s taking over. 53 tackles, 6 TFLs, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble already to start the year. Those numbers are a career year for most DBs, but that’s just Coleman through 4 games of his sophomore year. Coleman is special, and I’d recommend getting on board the hype train before it’s too late.

Nick Johnsen Nick Johnsen 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB Highland | 2024 State IN – Highland – LB – 6’4″ 220lbs – 2024
Johnsen is just now popping up on my radar, and I’m not sure how it took me so long. Maybe because I hit the entire state the best I can and sometimes you miss a guy, but nonetheless I’ve found him and couldn’t be more excited. He’s been an incredible producer ever since he stepped on the field. He plays with great confidence, as he should. He’s got an impeccable frame that allows him to dominate. He’s great near the LOS and could develop into an Edge at the next level. He’s got a high motor and does a good job driving with his legs. He’s quick enough and nimble enough to get around offensive linemen to make plays. He’ll make just about every tackle in open space and does a good job wrapping up. He’s got an upside worth developing, to say the least. He had 134 tackles last year. 44 so far this year with 8 of those being TFLs. 1 sack, 1 interception, 2 recovered fumbles, and 3 forced fumbles round out his pretty wild stat line to date. Johnsen is fun, worth bringing in, and someone I should have known a long long time ago.

Langdon Holbrook Langdon Holbrook 5'8" | 180 lbs | ATH Scottsburg | 2024 State IN – Scottsburg – ATH – 5’8″ 180lbs – 2024
Holbrook has been one of my favorite recruits in the class for years and continues to play at a high level. He’s not the biggest player, but he’s dynamic, gritty, versatile, and works his tail off. You’re getting a guy who loves the game, shows up to work, and makes plays in all 3 phases of the game. Holbrook is going to go somewhere and play at the next level. Whoever brings him in is going to happy with their investment. He’s got experience carrying the rock, playing receiver, and is just plain good with the ball in his hands. This season so far, he’s got 300 receiving yards and 6 TDs. He’s able to return kicks as well and can house them with his vision and speed. Holbrook is certainly under the radar when you look at everything he can provide a team down the road.

Tristan Robertson Tristan Robertson 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Floyd Central | 2024 State IN – Floyd Central – QB – 6’1″ 210lbs – 2024
Robertson has clearly taken a big step in development and has me changing my tune about him some. Coming into the year, I had some concerns. I wanted to see him improve his consistency in 2 main areas. Accuracy and reading the game/going through his progressions. So far this year, he’s blowing those expectations away and continually setting a higher ceiling than anticipated before. He seems so much more confident this year in everything he’s doing. He’s calm in the pocket and delivering strikes. He’s then-athletic enough to stress the defense out and keep them honest because he’ll take off and run. His completion % is up almost 7% this year to 60% and he’s already thrown for 10 TDs. 4 more than he threw all of last year. He’s also added 236 rushing yards and 4 TDs on the ground. Robertson has turned a big corner in his development and looks really good. If he continues this trend, he could be a diamond in the rough for the right program.

Gavin Osterman Gavin Osterman 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL East Central | 2026 State IN – East Central – OL – 6’3″ 280lbs – 2026
Osterman is an impressive-looking sophomore upfront for the state champs. He’s got a big frame, off the ball quickly, and seems to move well. He’s doing a good job on the outside sealing the tackle box when he’s out there. You can tell he works on his pass protection because, for his age, he’s got fairly clean footwork and hand placement. He’s able to gain depth and does a good job shooting with his hands. In the running game, he’s good at coming downhill and winning his block. He’s able to clear the way when it comes his way and keep his hands on the inside. His frame is decent, but a bit raw in the weight room. He’s developing there and looks decent as of now, so it’s a good sign for the long-term side of things. Osterman is doing a good job upfront clearing the way for 1 of Indiana’s best prospects so he’s rightfully earned his role and spotlight for now.
