The 2024 Class has 256 players ranked in the latest addition. The were guys that moved up and some that moved down. Here is a look at 18 players that could be making the jump up in the next rankings that will be released in January.

[player_tooltip player_id='589051' first='KJ' last='Asbury'] and [player_tooltip player_id='997204' first='Sharod' last='Williams'] RBs, Philip Simmons – It's hard to separate these two. Asbury (pictured) and Williams are a huge reason the Iron Horses are unbeaten through six games. Asbury has 1,062 yards and Williams is at 837. A deep run in the playoffs by Philip Simmons could see both backs near the 2,000-yard mark.

[player_tooltip player_id='997148' first='Ja'kari' last='Bennett'] RB, Daniel – The Lions are the top-ranked team in Class 3A, and Bennett typically only plays about half a game. He has 604 yards rushing this season, but he has an eye-popping 14.7 yards per carry and 10 rushing TDs. As the season moves forward and the competition heats up, Bennett could see his stock rise higher.

[player_tooltip player_id='267455' first='Knai' last='Cook'] RB, Byrnes – Cook is listed as a running back, and he does several things for the Rebels offensively, but his biggest impact might be on defense. He has 28 tackles on one of the better defenses in the state. He will have an opportunity against some pass-happy teams going down the stretch to make his mark.

[player_tooltip player_id='448995' first='Austin' last='Cunningham'] ATH, White Knoll – Cunningham is coming off a season in which he caught 51 passes for 665 yards and 11 touchdowns. He hasn't played yet this season because of injury but he's expected to be back as the undefeated Timberwolves move into a rugged region schedule.

[player_tooltip player_id='295367' first='Gabe' last='Cusack'] QB, Marion – There is a lot to like about the 6-foot-1, 195-pound signal caller. His numbers might be slightly down, but all the intangibles are there. If he can cut down on the interceptions and lead Marion to a deep playoff run, the stock will rise.

Dirrick Goodman LB/DB, South Florence – Let's talk about being a physical football player. Goodman does not shy aways from contact and is a vicious hitter when he reaches the ball-carrier. He and fellow safety [player_tooltip player_id='208353' first='Quincy' last='Rhodes'] provide the Bruins with a nice 1-2 punch.

[player_tooltip player_id='589013' first='Trae' last='Green'] RB, Summerville – The Green Wave have been the top-ranked team in Class 5A for several weeks and Green is a big reason why. He has been the leading rusher this season as the calendar turns to the fall, he will have a chance to put in big-time performances in the spotlight.

[player_tooltip player_id='996926' first='Jamarion' last='Jones'] RB, Latta – Jones is averaging over 200 yards rushing per game. Depending on how deep a run Latta can make in the playoffs, he could be destined for 2,500 yards and 35 touchdowns. He's already at 1,235 yards and 19 scores through six games.

[player_tooltip player_id='492672' first='Tyler' last='Jones'] DB, Dutch Fork – The Silver Foxes are 2-4 but it hasn't been because the play of the defense. Jones is a ball-hawking safety that plays with a mean streak, He supports the run defense but is also good in coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='267465' first='Kalil' last='Johnson'] RB, Carolina Forest – Johnson is on the smaller side, but he's shown great explosiveness during the first half of the season. He has five 100-yard performances in six games and will get plenty of chances to increase that number by season end.

[player_tooltip player_id='997329' first='Neal' last='Martin'] LB, Johnsonville – Martin is another two-way player that has performed well on both sides of the ball. He has over 500 yards rushing and is averaging nearly 14 yards per carry. He also plays in the middle of the defense and goes sideline-to-sideline with ease.

Khalil Moody ATH, Crestwood – It's safe to say Moody is a lockdown corner. Teams rarely throw in his direction and when they do, it doesn't turn out well. He also has three touchdowns on four receptions this season. If not for an injury this summer, he might already be ranked much higher.

[player_tooltip player_id='997216' first='KD' last='Mosley'] WR, Greenville – Teams are focusing on slowing down [player_tooltip player_id='163871' first='Mazeo' last='Bennett'] and Mosley has benefitted. He has all the tools at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds so he's a matchup problem wherever he lines up. His 17 receptions lead the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='997315' first='Slaton' last='Ragsdale'] OL Barnwell – Ragsdale moves well for his size, which is 6-foot-3, 290 pounds. He can pull from his tackle spot and he's as adept at run blocking or pass blocking. The more he grows into his frame, the better he will be at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='997177' first='KJ' last='Sabb'] LB, Blackville-Hilda – Sabb missed last season but he's back with a vengeance this season. He is averaging over 12 tackles per game and his ability to read plays with a quick first step makes him a big hitter on the Hawks defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1001124' first='JT' last='Sowell'] OT, Gray Collegiate – The War Eagles center is aggressive and doesn't bad down from any level of competition. He rarely, if ever, has a bad snap and can move into run blocking or pass blocking with ease. He's committed to Appalachian State.

[player_tooltip player_id='346194' first='Jack' last='Stevens'] K, North Augusta – Stevens has already hit from 40-plus yards several times this season. His leg has gotten considerably stronger. He could end up in one of the postseason all-star games in a crowded season for specialists.
