Week 6 gave us several exciting games with some impressive individual performances. While it was hard to pick from all of the strong performances from this past weekend, here are my top offensive performances in the state of Kentucky from Week 6.
Zane Johnson is a player that has gotten off to a great start to his high school career. He continued to impress this past week, leading Trinity to a huge win over their rival Saint Xavier. Johnson completed 20/29 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns, earning him MVP honors for the game. He showcased an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field and hit them in stride. Johnson also showed impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passed into tight windows where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. Another thing that impressed me with his ability to roll out outside the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Zane doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will be a player to keep an eye on as he has the potential to become a very highly sought after quarterback prospect.
Highlights
Montavin Quisenberry Montavin Quisenberry 5’9″ | 160 lbs | ATH Boyle County | 2025 State KY is our top-ranked player in his class and he showed us why this past week. He made big plays in several different ways in the Rebels’ win over Lexington Catholic. Montavin was able to use his speed to dominate as a receiver, catching six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. He also made an impact as a ball carrier, running the ball five times for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Quisenberry was also electric on special teams, returning one kickoff for a touchdown. Montavin currently holds offers from Michigan, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Louisville, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Power 5 caliber prospect that has the potential to be a very dangerous play maker at the next level.
Cole Hodge Cole Hodge 6’2″ | QB Christian Academy Of Louisville | 2024 State KY is another highly ranked player that continued to impress this past week. He led CAL to a win over Manual, completing 25/34 passes for 366 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Cole has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game while also putting a nice amount of touch on his passes to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He also showed the ability to tuck the ball and make plays with his legs when needed, leading the team with 11 carries for 84 yards. Hodge is committed to East Carolina where I can see him developing into a successful quarterback at the next level.
Another player that has been high on my radar for a while now that continued to impress this past week was Brock Coffman Brock Coffman 6’0″ | 160 lbs | WR Sayre School | 2025 State KY . Coffman played a huge role in Sayre’s dominant win over Nicholas County. At receiver, Coffman was able to use his speed and quick breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs with ease out of the slot. He finished the game with four receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns. Coffman also showed that he is a dangerous returner on special teams, returning one punt for a touchdown. He also made a big impact on defense, returning a fumble recovery for a touchdown and coming away with an interception. Coffman currently holds offers from Maryland and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Power 5 caliber prospect.
Brody Benke Brody Benke 6’4″ | 235 lbs | ATH Highlands | 2024 State KY is a player that has gotten off to a hot start to the 2023 season and continued to impress this past week. He helped lead Highlands to a hard-fought win over Cooper, completing 12/18 passes for 235 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Benke has a very strong arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game but also makes smart decisions with the ball, not forcing many tough throws. While he was impressive as a passer, Benke was also dominant as a ball carrier. He used his speed and strength to his advantage in the run game, carrying the ball 28 times for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Brody currently holds offers from Mount Union and Pikeville, and I expect more to come his way as he has received a lot of college interest and has the talent to play multiple positions at the next level.

Another member of the Highlands offense that impressed this past week was Carson Class Carson Class 6’0″ | 180 lbs | WR Highlands | 2024 State KY . He had a huge game at receiver, catching six passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Class was electric after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn screens into big gains. He also showed impressive route running ability, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Class doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way soon as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
Cam O’Hara Cam O’Hara 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Cooper | 2026 State KY has continued to show week after week why is our top-ranked quarterback in his class. Although they fell short in a shootout loss to Highlands, O’Hara put on quite a show. He completed 31/50 passes for 555 yards and six touchdowns. Cam showed off his impressive arm strength which he used to lead his receivers down the field and hit them in stride in the deep passing game. He also showed great composure under pressure, making tough throws with defenders right in his face. O’Hara currently holds offers from Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Tennessee State, and Miami (OH), and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Power 5 caliber quarterback prospect.
Isaiah Johnson Isaiah Johnson 5’8″ | 170 lbs | RB Great Crossing | 2024 State KY was on the receiving end of O’Hara’s impressive performance. Johnson had quite an impressive game himself, catching eight passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns. He lined up on the outside where he was able to use his speed to his advantage to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. Johnson also showed impressive athleticism, showing the ability to go up and catch passes at their highest point in contested jump ball situations. While Isaiah doesn’t currently hold any offers, I expect some to come his way soon as he has received a lot of college interest and definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
Highlights
Jarren Johnson Jarren Johnson 5’7″ | 175 lbs | ATH Union County | 2025 State KY is another player that stood out to me this past week. He played a key role in Union County’s win over McLean County. Johnson lined up at quarterback but was mainly used as a direct-snap running threat, carrying the ball 22 times for 255 yards and four touchdowns. He showed an impressive burst of speed as a ball carrier showing the ability to take the snap and simply run away from the defense. Once he hit the open field, he also showed the ability to make defenders miss to pick up extra yards. As a passer, Johnson completed 4/5 passes for 25 yards. Johnson doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
To wrap up my top offensive performers from Week 6, I have Brady Atwell Brady Atwell 6’3″ | 225 lbs | QB Owensboro Catholic | 2025 State KY . Brady led Owensboro Catholic to a dominant win over Crittenden County. Atwell had an impressive game as a passer, completing 27/39 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns. He has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game and also has impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit receivers in stride out of their breaks. Atwell also continued to show his dual-threat ability, carrying the ball six times for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Brady recently picked up his first offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to be a successful quarterback at the next level.
