These recruits have had a quality offseason and are beginning to blossom as potential prospects for the next level. Some have already been ranked on our site, while others will be shooting to make it in our next update. They all have promise and will be definite names to watch for this season.

QB: Ryan Wirtzfeld Ryan Wirtzfeld 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Oak Park | 2025 State CAD , 6’1″ 180
A southpaw with a rhythmic lower half, noticeable pocket awareness, and natural touch throwing on the run. He’s not a burner, but he does have enough wiggle to make tacklers miss, he shows neat footwork and can extend a play outside the pocket. He’s got a tight release, he uses his eyes to manipulate defenders and puts enough air under his deep ball for his target to glide under it. He’s willing to work through a full progression and check it down to his back if nothing presents itself downfield.
ATH: Brady Fay Brady Fay 6'0" | 190 lbs | WR Vincent Massey | 2024 State CAD 6′ 190
Fay shows excellent hands in traffic, he has sky-high YAC potential with the ball in his hands and has the body control to adjust & work back to the football on underthrows. He can separate from a defender at the top of his route, is a physical runner with the football, and is a high-effort blocker that can help spring a big play. On defense, he shows excellent anticipation breaking on the quarterback’s intentions, terrific ball skills, and the ability to cover a ton of ground while the football is in the air.
DB: Kohl Welz, 6′ 190
A ferocious tackler that hits like a ton of bricks. Welz breaks on the football and runs through targets, he has a nose for the ball and stays over the top of speedy receivers in zone coverage. He’s a natural coming down from his safety spot & running the alley, he goes up & gets the football at its highest point and is a key special teams contributor as well.
TE: Logan LeJour, 6’4″ 230
Logan has quality size for a tight end, he looks to finish blocks & bury opponents as a run blocker and drags tacklers with him after the catch. He’s raw as a route runner but knows how to use his frame to his advantage, he’s got an overwhelming punch at the point of attack and can vertically displace down linemen. He speeds past arm tackle attempts and plays an angry style of ball that is hard to replicate.
