Who Will Represent 7A South

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There has been a lot of early talk about state champions this season. You know we love to get into that type of talk. It is going to be fun to see who represents the South the season. Especially with the new addition of 7A.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Oak Grove</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A lot of fans are ready to see what Oak Grove is going to do this season. I expect [player_tooltip player_id='344082' first='Anthony' last='Maddox'] to have a great time on offense. He is going to he the leader of this team. We don't want to see them make the playoffs and lose. This team is super loaded and has the firepower that it takes. They just need to be sure to produce. They have a very loaded defense that should be bringing the pain. Only time will tell.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Brandon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nate Blount. I had to type it like that for a reason. This young man is going to have a big season. Guys like him play with a chip on their shoulder. Blount is one of the best athletes in the state. Him and [player_tooltip player_id='273250' first='Landon' last='Varnes'] produce on offense. Brandon has a great chance to make a third straight appearance in the state championship. It would not be a surprise to see them representing the south in 7A.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ocean Springs</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ocean Springs is coming back with some firepower this season as well. [player_tooltip player_id='920474' first='Will' last='Smith'] is back on the scene, and I am not talking about the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Smith is a guy that has a a lot of speed and is ready to tote the rock. [player_tooltip player_id='346400' first='Talan' last='Carter'] is ready to lead their defensive line. They also have a nice coaching staff. I expect some nice things this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Gulfport </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gulfport is going to shock some people this season.
