Rick Penick | WR | Class of 2024 | Lakeland | @rick_p7
Lakeland WR Rick Penick had himself a game against Miami Norland on Friday night. He scored on the initial kickoff return for 99 yards and followed that with 2 big-time receiving TDs.
Girard Pringle | RB | Class of 2025 | Armwood | @GirardPringle
Pringle is that dude. Has to be one of the more underrated running back prospects in the area. He recorded 305 yards and 4 TDs against a good Venice program after a similar performance last week against Lakeland.
Javon Ross Javon Ross 5'9" | 165 lbs | ATH DeLand | 2024 FL | ATH | Class of 2024 | Deland | @javonMross
Talk about having back-to-back solid weekends. Ross was productive all over the field on week one, just check the stats below.
Game 1 Stats:

DJ Devault | ATH | Class of 2024 | Mulberry | @ohthatsdj4
Devault was on a mission Friday night on his way to 4 rushing touchdowns in Mulberry’s blowout win against ACA. He scored on the *1st play of scrimmage with a 60-yard TD run and only kept predicting. Mulberry has a group of talented backs this season.
Lloyd Knight | RB | Class of 2025 | Mulberry | @mjayy25
Knight recorded a breakout game against a developing program in ACA. Scored on a nice 52-yard TD run.
Dallen Ponder | ATH | Class of 2024 | Vanguard | @DallenPonder
The WKU commit gave Vanguard a spark at the start of the second half with an 88-yard kick return. That’s back-to-back solid performances from Ponder to kickstart the season.
Jamar Taylor Jr Jamar Taylor Jr 6'1" | 205 lbs | WR Lakeland | 2024 FL | WR | Class of 2024 | Lakeland | @JamarTaylorJr1
Taylor was an important part of the offensive passing scheme against a good Miami Norland secondary, but he made it happen on various deep balls and even found the endzone.
Jade Card Jade Card 6'2" | 195 lbs | ATH Miami Northwestern | 2025 State FL | WR | Class of 2025 | Norland | @JADECARD11
Card was really productive against a deep Dreadnaught secondary. Has a college-ready frame at 6-4 with a good WR IQ combined with strong hands. One of the premier rising junior receivers in the state. He made a few big plays in Bryant Stadium.
Nick Teeter | WR | Class of 2025 | Cocoa | @NicholasteeterN
Teeter has proved to be one of the better-underrated slot receivers in the area. He contributed a 29-yard TD reception in a close win against Jones. Keep your eyes on him this season as he can see an uptick in college interest.
Dayrel Glover | ATH | Class of 2025 | Bartow | GloverDayrel
Glover put on a show for the Yellow Jackets as he ran hard between the tackles and caught the ball out of the backfield, even recording a TD reception.
Rashad Orr | RB | Class of 2024 | Lake Wales | @RashadOrr4
Orr is one of the top running backs in Polk County and he showed that on Friday night in his first official game with Lake Wales. He recorded 236 rushing yards and 1 TD on 24 carries to help the Highlanders start 1-0.
