Both offensive lines will have their work cut out for them as they try and slow those guys down.
St Ignatius is coming off a 37-20 victory over St Patricks last week. Fenwick is also entering this game off a win, defeating Oak Park River Forest 34-13. Fenwick will have revenge on their mind’s losing to St Ignatius last season in a close game.
Scott is coming off a solid performance in week 1 in which he had 5 tackles – 3 for a loss. He also showed up in the passing game applying constant pressure on the quarterback. Every team that plays Ignatius has a plan on how to deal with Scott’s dominance. However, this week I look for Scott to show up big and take over the game up front.
Highlights
The triple option offense is very difficult to stop for a defense. Especially, when you have a quarterback like Wanzung behind center. The junior QB is weapon with the ball in his hand and does a great job facilitating the ball to his teammates. Last week he threw and ran in a touchdown to take down St Patricks.

The senior linebacker showed up big last week for the Wolfpack defense. He had an interception and a forced fumble to help secure the victory. He plays with great instinct trusting his reads and triggering down hill when he reads run. I love his aggressiveness at the outside linebacker spot and look for him to have another big night on Friday.
Marshall is an absolute game wrecker. Explosive first step and violent hands its no wonder he was on the top defensive lineman in the country. He is a pass rushing specialist that is relentless getting to the quarterback. St Ignatius’ option offense does limit his pass rushing opportunities but regardless he will show up for Fenwick’s defense all night long.
Hill is a dual-threat quarterback with a live arm. He has a quick release that makes him effective in the RPO game. Last week against Oak Park River Forest he threw for 201 yards and a touchdown. If he can build off his week 1 performance and take care of the ball he could have a big game on Friday night.

D’Alise is a ball player. I love his toughness and his motor. He is a throwback player who runs the ball hard. It usually take multple defenders to take him down. Last week he was the player of the game with 3 touchdowns and 94 yards rushing. There is no doubt he is going to try and duplicate that performance from week 1.
