No tape out on this kid but I’m hearing great things both in terms of stat line/production as well as mental makeup. In what was apparently his first start at quarterback, Tyler Shiey surpassed the 400+ total yard mark against the Halifax defense, six total touchdowns to boot. Very excited to see some kind of tape so we can begin to break down what areas he excels in, efficiencies, defficiencies, etc. A new name to the site, one that I’ll keep my eye on moving forward.
Jacob Benton Jacob Benton ATH State PA
Jacob Benton Jacob Benton ATH State PA
Jacob Benton Jacob Benton ATH State PA , a senior out of Central (Martinsburg), caught six balls for nearly 250 yards of offense, two scores too. Bellefonte couldn’t match up with Central, Benton was able to take advantage and light up the game. A ton of his production came after the catch. Heavy slot usage has him in prime position to catch tunnel screens and beat DB angles with solid acceleration. Benton lined up in the backfield on occasions, ate working the seams too. His QB did a great job getting the ball into his hands early and letting him work after the catch. Looked like Benton hardly broke a sweat out there.
Reese Gaughan Reese Gaughan ATH State PA
Reese Gaughan Reese Gaughan ATH State PA
No tape to dissect but hear Riverside’s Reese Gaughan Reese Gaughan ATH State PA had himself an opening night. He’s unranked, yet nights like this will have him on our lists sooner rather than later. In a matchup against Wesr Scranton, Gaughan scored four touchdowns in three different ways. Would love to see context on how he managed to catch two touchdowns, run for one, and pass for another in what I presume was a hard-fought win considering the final score. I usually see extraordinary stat lines like this in blowouts, where offenses tend to get creative. Gaughan did this in a one-score game, impressive.
Ty Werley Ty Werley WR PA
Ty Werley Ty Werley WR PA
Tyler Shuey Tyler Shuey QB Hamburg Area | 2025 State PA completed ten throws in his first career start, five of them went to another Tyler, that being Ty Werley Ty Werley WR PA , a 6’1, junior pass-catcher whose name is new to our database. Much like Shuey, we are still waiting on tape to provide context on Werley’s game, yet some tweets from reporters covering the game conveyed that Shuey and Werley connected for three scores in the second quarter alone. Hamburg has other studs around the field, add these two to the mix and we’ve got a program worth traveling two+ hours to see on Friday nights. The five catches and three scores went for a whopping 250+ yards.
Every time I dive into Montour Football I find a new prospect I like. This time, it’s senior quarterback Jake Wolfe Jake Wolfe 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Montour | 2024 State PA . Stat line shows he eclipsed the 300 total yard mark, cruising for 200 through the air and another 100 on the ground. 300 total yards and three scores will certainly get my attention. Watching some tape on Wolfe’s performance, you can see the young man operate in spread system that trusts his ability to readkey-defenders to either tuck/give/throw in RPO sets. There’s a ton on this kid’s plate, yet he can clearly handle the myriad of decisions he’s asked to make on a play-by-play basis. He’s a tough tackle once he gets downhill momentum, good build too. Some anticipatory throws too, solid accuracy. One of my favorite new names out of the weekend.
Drew Wyland

No activity on Twitter, Hudl hasn’t posted anything yet. Hear this young man accounted for every score put up by Hollidaysburg this past Friday night. Almost eclipsed the 200-yard mark on the ground, 300 total. I’ll need to see more before getting too excited.
No Hudl tape yet, no Twitter activity, a name I’m going to stash for any coach recruiting the Bentleyville, PA area. Bentworth trounced Brownsville, Admittedly unfamiliar with both programs. Hearing Vitali Daniels Vitali Daniels QB Bentworth | 2024 PA accounted for five total touchdowns in this rout.
Six scores on tape for Catasauqua’s Aiden Hess Aiden Hess 5’10” | 180 lbs | QB Catasauqua | 2025 State PA . The junior quarterback turned up for the win over Northern Lehigh. First rep on tape shows Hess can improvise when things don’t go according to plan. A botched snap left Hess scrambling, yet keeping his eyes downfield. The defense played the fumble and let a man get loose in the secondary, Hess’ awareness led to a score in this situation. Hess hit a post in stride, working with a clean pocket, so you get a nice mixture of what the passer can do in different situations. is 5’9, but can launch the ball 40+ yards in the air. Like the depth he gets in his dropback. Like how he delivers the rock in a timely fashion when working outs or hitches. Excited to see more this Fall.
First time hearing about this kid out of Susquenita HS in Duncannon, PA. 6’4, 225, Honor Roll, and NHS member. 3-sport athlete who has started at QB for 3+ years now. I haven’t done enough research on Susquenita football that’s for sure. Derek Gibney Derek Gibney 6’4″ | 225 lbs | QB Susquenita | 2024 State PA accumulated 235+ yards through the air with three scores to boot in what would be a loss to West Perry this past Friday night. Tape conveys a passer comfortable working in a spread offense. Has a couple of gems out of this game worthy of making his seasonal tape. Love the kid’s ability to anticipate open windows across the middle of the field. Gibney hit slants and posts in stride, in what were legitimately tight windows, for big gains and scores too. His size is a plus, footwork and throwing mechs could always be improved. Wouldn’t consider him a dual-threat but the 225-pound QB isn’t a statue in the pocket. One of the better prospects I’ve come across so far.
Big fans of names like Joey Flail Joey Flail 6’0″ | 185 lbs | ATH North Schuylkill | 2024 State PA , Aiden Zilker Aiden Zilker 6’5″ | 280 lbs | OL North Schuylkill | 2026 State PA , Collin McGee Collin McGee 6’2″ | 205 lbs | DB North Schuylkill | 2024 State PA and more. Somehow, I missed the man under center, which is a bit baffling. Trevor Minalda Trevor Minalda 6’0″ | 210 lbs | QB North Schuylkill | 2024 State PA , 6’1, senior quarterback. Haven’t seen released tape of his performance against Mount Carmel. You’re going to need a proficient performance out of your QB to beat a team like Mount Carmel, Minalda provided that and some. Three scores, 230+ yards through the air. Want to watch highlights sooner rather than later.
Probably the highest chance to be ranked coming out of the season. Junior, a 6’3 athlete accounted for five scores in a Friday night victory over Harbor Creek. First rep on tape shows off the kid’s depth perception when attacking downfield, hitting a nine route in stride 35+ yards downfield. Love his presence in the pocket, calm, stands tall. He replicates this first rep later in the game, love the consistency right out of the gate. Zander Telesz Zander Telesz 6’3″ | 165 lbs | ATH Hickory | 2025 State PA ‘s Week Zero tape conveys duality in his game, in terms of throwing the football and/or tucking and utilizing his legs. Could be a special prospect sooner rather than later. I wonder if he provides two-way capabilities too, maybe some OLB or S.
Jake Williams Jake Williams ATH State PA
Jake Williams Jake Williams ATH State PA
What a night for Eastern Lebanon County’s senior athlete Jake Williams Jake Williams ATH State PA . Not sure how I haven’t had him on our lists yet, performances like this will force my hand. Just nine totes, five scores for Williams. That’s not counting a 90-yard kick return recorded either. 230+ yards on the ground, with nearly every touchdown on tape, forcing Williams to run through some kind of contact. Williams wasn’t always running free, he worked through the trenches for the majority of his production. West York simply didn’t want to tackle this young man. ELCO’s Twitter also reported that Williams had another score on the ground that was negated by a penalty. Special night, Hudl linked below.
Jeremy Ganska Jeremy Ganska ATH State PA
Jeremy Ganska Jeremy Ganska ATH State PA
Some love for Mercyhurst Prep’s senior back Jeremy Ganska Jeremy Ganska ATH State PA . 200+ yards accumulated on the ground thanks to great blocking, patience up front, as well as timely play-calling by the MP coaching staff. MP handed Fairview a heavy dose of off-tackle, fullback-led runs out of shotgun with Ganska toting the rock. Any program wanting to beat Prep is going to have to stop what might be the team’s bread and butter. Might be worth mentioning Ganska’s ability to serve as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
The first underclassman mentioned on this list. Identifying this kid early should bode well for his chance to stay on our lists moving forward. This Week One performance should put Indiana’s Levi Porter Levi Porter 6’2″ | 195 lbs | ATH Indiana Area | 2026 State PA ahead of the pack in terms of new 2026s. 6’1, 190, fascinating build. 3.7 GPA, 4.53 self-reported 40t. Porter accounted for three of Indiana’s four touchdowns scored against Freeport. Worked the middle of the field for a catch that went 60+ yards. Went for 60 again later in the game, breaking multiple tackles after receiving a hand-off in the backfield. A real ball player who could make his presence felt in all three facets of the game. Versatile performance, hope to see his role expand moving forward.
No tape to dissect yet, but another underclassman featured after Indiana’s Levi Porter Levi Porter 6’2″ | 195 lbs | ATH Indiana Area | 2026 State PA . 196 yards registered on the ground, accounted for all touchdowns scored in the game, (2). Playing this well this early into his career, high chance I remember his name moving forward.
Central Cambria’s Grady Snyder Grady Snyder 5’11” | 185 lbs | ATH Central Cambria | 2025 State PA wasting no time. coming out of the gate strong and posting his highlights on Hudl within a weekend’s time.
31 att, 145 yards, 1 TD. 2 rec, 50+ yards, 1 TD. 7 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 Int. Tape starts with exemplary pass-catching reps that show off Snyder’s ability to stack defenders when working vertically, as well as showing off some YAC ability. Later in tape, he’ll be witnessed taking snaps at Wildcat QB, taking handoffs out of gun formation, there are even some safety reps to be had. Seen blitzing through the A-gaps, seen filling the alley from his box-safety position. This kid can do a lot and showed it on tape. Exciting player.
Jaden Duckett Jaden Duckett ATH State PA
Jaden Duckett Jaden Duckett ATH State PA
Univeristy Prep senior corner who recorded two interceptions on tape in his Week Zero matchup against New Castle. Awareness when plays break down led to an interception, having to play to the whistle as a DB is a tough thing to do, Duckett stayed active even as the second phase of the play began to begin. Undercut a post from his OTN corner position for his first pick, both INTs on tape. Great start for a new name on the site.
