<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1646149' first='HD' last='Davis'] - Wolfe City - Wolfe City, TX </strong>- [player_tooltip player_id='1646149' first='HD' last='Davis'] rushed for 451 yds and 6TDs in the season opener vs Leonard High School. Davis's had the most rushing yds in week 1, and helped Wolfe City to a 60-35 victory. Keep watching for this Class 2A Standout, [player_tooltip player_id='1646149' first='HD' last='Davis'].</p>

<p><strong>Willie Lacey - Chico HS - Chico, TX</strong> - Willie Lacey rushed for 389 yds on 26 rushing attempts, and had 7 rushing TDs on the night. His 389 rushing yds. was second most for week 1. His 7 rushing TDs was the most in the State of Texas. Lacey helped lead Chico to a 53-50 win agianst Gateway Charter Academy. Keep watching for this Class 2A Standout, Willie Lacey.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='286452' first='Demetrius' last='Brisbon Jr.'] - Chapel Hill HS - Tyler, TX </strong>- Brisbon rushed for 331 yds. on 15 rushing attempts in the huge week 1 matchup against Gilmer High School. Brisbon showed off some electrifying speed and versatility as he helped knock off one of the top teams in the State of Texas. [player_tooltip player_id='286452' first='Demetrius' last='Brisbon Jr.'] helped lead the Chapel Hill Bulldogs to a 71-53 victory. His 22 yds./carry was the #1 Yds/carry in the State in week 1. Keep your eyes on this class of 2025 standout!</p>

Williams totaled 4 rushing TDs in the 41-0 shutout victory in week 1. Williams had a long run of 78 yds. Williams is impressing people and had a great start to the 2023 season.</p>

<p><strong>John Raybuck - Mercy Culture Prep - Ft. Worth, Texas </strong>- Raybuck had 211 rushing yds on 7 rushing attempts and 3 TDs on the ground. Raybuck added 2 TDs receiving, as well as a punt return for a TD. Raybuck's outstanding performance in week 1 has opened some eyes and will get him some attention on the recruiting landscape. Keep track of John Raybuck in 2023!</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='286370' first='Rickey' last='Stewart'] - Chappel Hill HS - Tyler, TX </strong>- [player_tooltip player_id='286370' first='Rickey' last='Stewart'] rushed for 298 yds. on 20 carries in the week 1 matchup against the Gilmer Buckeyes. Stewart was #5 in rushing yds. in week 1. He only had 1 TD, but was a valuable addition that helped take down one of the top teams in the State of Texas in Class 4A. [player_tooltip player_id='286370' first='Rickey' last='Stewart'] is a name that you need to continue to watch in 2023.</p>

<p><strong>Bryant Thomas - Cypress Woods HS - Cypress, TX</strong> - Bryant Thomas rushed for 237 yds on 11 carries in the week 1 victory against Katy Taylor. Thomas had 3 TDs in the 49-42 win. Bryant Thomas had an outstanding 21.5 yds./carry. Keep your eyes out for Byrant Thomas in the 2023 season.</p>
