<p><strong>Texas High School Football has kicked off, and here are some of the Top Performers from Week 1.</strong><br><br><br><strong>Braxton Roberts - Panther Creek HS - Frisco, TX</strong> - Roberts completed 28 of 32 passes, for a total of 453 yds. and 5 Passing TDs. His 87.5% completion rating is extremely impressive! Roberts completely tore it up in Week 1 48-7 victory over Frisco Independence. Roberts had the most passing yds in the State of Texas for week 1 at 453. Keep up with Braxton Roberts in 2023.</p>

Flour Bluff played a talented Boerne team and came away with a 42-35 victory with the help of Paluseo's arm. Paluseo's 420 passing yds was second in the State of Texas for week 1. <p><strong>Mikey Cota - Odessa HS - Odessa, TX</strong> - Cota completed 21 of 46 passes for 417 yds. and 4 TDs. Cota had a great night despite a 44-42 loss in a hard fought battle with Lubbock Monterey. His 417 yds passing was third in the State of Texas for week 1.</p>

<p><strong>Logan Jenkins - Collinsville HS - Collinsville, TX </strong>- Jenkins completed 40 of 44 passes for 412 yds. and 6 TDs! His 90.9% completion percentage was the best in the state in week 1. His QB Rating was 156, in the top 5 highest in Texas for week 1, however the QBs with higher ratings had much fewer attempts. Jenkins led Collinsville to a 48-20 W against Tioga. Jenkins accuracy is incredible, and college coaches should keep an eye on this young man!</p>

Vargas had some impressive throws on the run. His arm strength is very good, and Plains HS is going to benefit greatly from his abilities. Keep eyes on Tyler Vargas in 2023.<br><br><strong>Will Hammond - Hutto HS - Hutto, TX</strong> - Hammond completed 17 of 23 passes for 410 yds. and 6 TDs in a 66-35 victory over San Marcos. The Texas Tech comitt had 74% completion percentage. Watch out for the Hutto Hippos in 2023 as Hammond looks to lead them deep into the postseason.</p>

Worth, TX </strong>- Renfro completed 27 of 41 passes for 392 yds. and 4TDs in a 55-30 victory over Saginaw. Renfro showed great touch on his deep ball. He also threaded the needle in between defenders multiple times which was very impressive. Keep your eyes on Renfro in 2023.</p>

<p><strong>Noah Booras - Georgetown HS - Georgetown, TX</strong> - Carter completed 21 of 26 passes for 376 yds. and 3 TDs in a 37-7 victory over Copperas Cove. Borras's arm strength was apparent as he zipped the ball around the yard. Carter had 80% completion percentage and the highest passer rating of 160 in week 1. Keep your eyes on Noah Booras moving forward.</p>

<p><strong>Charlie Adamoli - Cinco Ranch - Katy, TX </strong>- Adamoli completed 21 of 32 passes for 373 yds and 4 TDs. Adamoli's passer rating was 145 in his 49-42 shootout vs College Park HS. Adamoli did a great job moving around the pocket and completing balls down field. His arm strength was showcased and his touch on the ball was extremely impressive. Adamoli (Jr.) showed why he is one of the top QBs in Texas 6A Football. <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='626822' first='Lincoln' last='Philyaw'] - Brandies High School - San Antonio, TX</strong> - Philyaw completed 20 of 30 passes for 371 yds and 5 TDs in a week 1 victory over O'Conner HS. Philyaw added 1 TD on the ground. His completion percentage was 67%. Lincoln showed great ability to move around in the pocket while delivering balls on a rope. He has great arm strength, and pocket presence is elite. Lincoln has great film and the ability to be a game changer at the QB positoin.
