With so many top performers grabbing the spotlight for fans to see, we have always taken it one step further.
By using our over 100,000 social media followers and daily prospects – which include an audience of college coaches at every level throughout the nation – we get that information right into the hands of those who need to see it the most.
For over five decades, we have run scores and posted top performers throughout the season, knowing who reads our content. We do not just pick up our work in August and put it away. This is something we do every day of the year, and that’s why we have been followed and recognized.
Today, with the first week in the rearview mirror, we bring you some top performance across the Sunshine State:
Miami Westminster Christian 2025 QB Jason “Weasel” Barket had 390 yards and 4 touchdown passes in a tough loss to Delray American Heritage. He has played 16 games for the Warriors and has reached the 3.000 passing mark with 34 touchdowns.
Miami Norland junior QB Ennio Yapoor Ennio Yapoor 6'0" | 225 lbs | QB Miami Norland | 2025 State FL started his fourth year as a starting varsity quarterback by putting on a show with 6 total touchdowns and over 500 yards passing in a win at Lakeland.
Plantation American Heritage sophomore QB Simeon Caldwell Simeon Caldwell 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Jacksonville Bolles | 2026 FL , in his first varsity start, was 16 of 21 with two scores in three quarters in the Patriots win in the Broward County National Showcase over St. John’s College Prep, Washington D.C.
Making the move from Palmetto, 2025 QB Zander Smith Zander Smith 6'4" | 215 lbs | QB Lakeland | 2025 State FL from Lakeland through for 265 yards and four scores in a setback at home.
Junior OL Samuel Rodriguez Samuel Rodriguez 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Miami Springs | 2026 FL , Miami Ferguson, had 12 pancake blocks and gave up no sacks in the Falcons’ 47-0 win.
Sophomore QB Jayden Chico Jayden Chico 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Plantation | 2026 FL threw for 186 yards and three scores as Fort Lauderdale shutout Deerfield Beach for only the second time in school history.
Seffner Armwood junior RB Gee Pringle had 305 yards and four touchdowns in a huge win against Venice.
Pembroke Pines Charter QB Jayden Gonzalez tied a school record with four touchdown passes in a win over Oakland Park Northeast. He completed 9 passes for 249 yards.
Dylan Mayers Dylan Mayers 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Boca Raton St. Andrew's | 2024 FL , QB, Boca Raton St. Andrew’s Academy, was 19 of 30 for 374 yards and 6 touchdowns. He added 36 yards on the ground. His teammate 2025 WR Teddy Hoffman accounted for 167 yards and three scores on 11 receptions.
Javian Jones, Athlete, West Palm Beach The King’s Academy had 5 catches for 111 yards and 2 scores on offense and added 3 tackles and 3 pass breakups on defense.
Class of 2024 standout Geramyah Porter, Tarpon Springs had 210 All-purpose yards, 1 passing, 1 rushing TD.
Class of 2026 QB Noah Grubbs of Lake Mary, one of the best in the country, kicked off the season throwing for 527 yards and accounted for 8 touchdowns in a 76-60 win. Crazy!
Great first game for Boca Raton Spanish River 2027 DT Matt Raiman (6-2, 270) who had 2.5 Sacks, 3TFL, 3 Solos and 4 assists.
Cibastian Broughton Cibastian Broughton 5'10" | 160 lbs | QB Orange Park Fleming Island | 2025 State FL threw four touchdown passes, two to Trace Burney Trace Burney 5'9" | 160 lbs | ATH Fleming Island | 2026 FL and one each to Devaen Boykin and Demhir Jackson Demhir Jackson 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Fleming Island | 2025 FL to lead Fleming Island.
In a 28-21 loss to the defending 4M state champion Miami Christopher Columbus, Antwan Raymond ran for 279 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has piled up over 400 yards in two games.
Senior Cody Hubbard, St. Petersburg Northside Christian finished with 11 tackles and assists and recorded a safety.
Senior DB Torra Kelly Torra Kelly 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Deerfield Beach | 2024 FL Jr., Deerfield Beach had 4 pass break ups, 1 forced fumble and 6 tackles.
Melbourne Central Catholic’s 2027 QB Joseph Allen Joseph Allen 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Melbourne Central Catholic | 2027 FL was 16/23 – 230 yards passing – 3TDs to 3 different WRs and 34 yards rushing on 5 scrambles.
Octavius Barnes scored a pair of pick-sixes as Baldwin rolled. Nesahawn Jacobs rushed for an 80-yard score.
Senior kicker Mika Levy was 4/4 on extra points and had 5 touchbacks in Sarasota Out-of-Door Academy’s win.
One of the top 2026 DB Kaleb DeClaire, South Plantation, started off 2023 in style with 2 interceptions, 1 sack, 7 tackles and 2 pass breakups.
Class of 2027 QB Zac Katz Zac Katz 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB True North Classical Academy | 2027 FL Xpicked up where he left off last season as he guided Miami True North Classical Academy – by going 12/14 for 251 yards and 5 scores. He also added 43 yards on the ground.
Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy QB Robert Kerns Robert Kerns 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Archbishop McCarthy | 2026 FL was 10 of 13 for 135 yards and added 6 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
Class of 2025 two-way lineman Ashton Abell, Coral Springs Charter finished the opener with 6 pancakes 5 tackles 4 drive blocks 0 sacks allowed. Starter since freshman year.
Class of 2027 QB Max Griner, , was a perfect 7 for 7 in his high school varsity debut, accounting for Boynton Beach 140 yards and two scores.
Jayke Jones grabbed a pick-six and linebacker Cameron Anderson scored for Jacksonville Trinity Christian. LSU commit Colin Hurley Colin Hurley 6'0" | 215 lbs | QB Jacksonville Trinity Christian | 2024 State FL connected on a third-quarter TD to Miles Burris.
2024 LB Zane Sherrer from Cocoa Beach had 9 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack and a fumble recovery.
Camden Morton Camden Morton 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Creekside | 2027 FL , 2027 Athlete, Creekside ran for 165 yards and 2 scores and returned two kicks for 76 yards.
Trace Scott, DE, Orlando Timber Creek came up with 2 sacks 4 tackles for loss, 1 tipped pass, 6 tackles and 2 QB pressures.
2027 QB Jack Spaeder Jack Spaeder 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB American | 2027 FL , Hialeah American was impressive in the Patriots’ opener with 3 scoring passes. Class of 2025 defensive standout Jamal Rowell Jamal Rowell 6'0" | 285 lbs | DL Hialeah American | 2025 FL had 2 sacks 3 tackles for loss.
James Resar James Resar 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Jacksonville Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL passed for three first-half touchdowns and ran for another to lead Jacksonville Bishop Kenny. J.P. Donovan, Kaleb Lampkins (two TDs) and Patton Burnett all grabbed TD scores.
Jordan Canas Jordan Canas 5'10" | 195 lbs | DL Miami St. Brendan | 2026 FL , TE, Miami St. Brendan had 3 catches, one for a score and showed his versatility with 2 pancake blocks. Senior RB Widley Jean Francois Widley Jean Francois 5'9" | 180 lbs | ATH St Brendan | 2024 FL opened the season in grand fashion, scoring 5 times and running for 111 yards on just five carries.
Jayson Kennedy, 2025 S/LB, Milton had an impressive opener with 9 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 pressures & 1 blocked punt.
Quarterback T.J. Cole and running back Jayshun Wanton ran for scores for Jacksonville Ribault.
Lake Wales senior RB Rashad Orr (5-10, 180) exploded for 236 rushing yards and 1 TD on 24 carries to help the Highlanders.
Class of 2026 QB Darryon Jones Darryon Jones 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Hillsborough | 2026 FL opened the season for Tampa Hillsborough completing 16 of 19 passes for 225 yards and two scores in less than three quarters.
Class of 2025 QB Bjorn Jurgensen Bjorn Jurgensen 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Bishop Moore Catholic | 2025 State FL , Orlando Bishop Moore completed 23 passes for 243 yards two scores and added 25 yards on the ground.
In Palm Beach Central’s win against St. John’s Creekside, first-time starting sophomore quarterback Caleb Butler Caleb Butler 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Palm Beach Central | 2026 FL , who passed for 361 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score to keep Creekside at bay. His passing targets were impressive, with junior four-star prospects and transfers Kamare Williams Kamare Williams 6'3" | 175 lbs | WR Wellington Palm Beach Central | 2025 State FL (142 yards, two TD catches and a pick-six) and Waden Charles Waden Charles 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Wellington Palm Beach Central | 2025 State FL (59 yards and a TD) leading the way.
Newcomers Richard Kramer, a senior transfer from South Fork, and Zachery Josue, a senior transfer from Centennial, along with returning senior Omari Kinsler all came up with huge plays for Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast.
Michael Matos Michael Matos led the St. John’s Bartram Trail with three and a half sacks in a 20-17 win. Riley Trujillo Riley Trujillo 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB St. Johns Bartram Trail | 2024 State FL ‘s 40-yard touchdown pass to Joey Davoli pushed the Bears in front early, the Super 11 QB added a 2-yard scoring run and Liam Padron Liam Padron 5'9" | 160 lbs | K Bartram Trail | 2024 FL booted two field goals.
Ponte Vedra Nease kicker Danny Jones booted the deciding 25-yard field goal in overtime for the win Nease’s Cade Papineau and Careal Carter intercepted passes.
Ryan Killmer passed for four touchdowns to lead St. Augustine Tocoi Creek. Julio Santiago scored three receiving touchdowns for the Toros and Vinny Galella rushed for two scores.
Two first-half rushing scores from Marquis Sams helped St. Augustine Menendez to an opening night win. Mason Lynch also scored on the ground.
Mark Miller topped the 100-yard mark and ran for two touchdowns to help Jacksonville Raines. Amir Green and Chris McCloud both picked off passes.
University of South Florida commit Fred Gaskin III Fred Gaskin III 5'10" | 165 lbs | ATH Ocala Vanguard | 2024 State FL , a two-way standout for Ocala Vanguard, completed 13 passes for 257 yards on offense. Defensively, there were no passes thrown in his direction.
In the season opener against Hialeah Gardens Mater Academy, Miami Lakes Barbara Goleman 2026 standout Tre Bell III had 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 touchdown, three catches and an extra point. Class of 2026 DE/TE R.J. Alphonse had 3 tackles for loss, 2 solo tackles,1 fumble recovery and 2 touchdowns in an opening night win.
Wesley Chapel Cypress Creek WR/DB Shawn Smith had 6 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown on offense. Defensively he finished with 7 tackles. 2024 quarterback Jack Niemann completed 18 passes for 320 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Anclote 2024 standout athlete Damian Spencer ran for 160 yards and had 4 scores. On defense, he had 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman senior QB Luke Warnock threw for 302 yards and 5 touchdowns on 17 completions.
Miami Dr. Krop 2025 LB Qwincy Bonne-Annee led the Lighting to an opening-night win with 12 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a sack.
St. Petersburg Catholic’s 2025 QB Kanon Vetter was 17-31 300 yds, 4 tds , 1 rushing touchdown.
2026 QB Will Griffin Will Griffin 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB Tampa Jesuit | 2026 FL , Tampa Jesuit, led his team to a comeback win as he finished 23 of 27 for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons 2024 DB Guy Edmond had a big opening week with 10 tackles and brilliant pass coverage. Running back P.J. Anderson had 12 carries for 84 yards and scored the winning touchdown.
2025 Naples RB Shawn Simeon Shawn Simeon 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Naples | 2025 State FL sparked his team with a memorable performance – 231 yards on 16 carries and 4 touchdowns.
Niceville had a trio of standouts in a 29-0 win against North Miami Beach. 2024 Maddax Fayard Maddax Fayard 5'10" | 190 lbs | WR Niceville | 2024 FL , WR (2 TDs, 7 receptions, 3 rushes), 2025 Maddox Hayles, LB (16 Tackles, 2 Forced Fumbles). 2026 Alant’e Reese, LB (7 Tackles, Forced Fumble, strip and returned for Touchdown).
Land O’Lakes 2024 LB Jeffrey Mason finished with 7 tackles and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown.
In Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy’s win, 2024 QB Anthony Barbar Anthony Barbar 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy | 2024 FL (23 of 29, 381 yards, 4 touchdowns) and D.J. Wimbley (7 catches, 89 yards and two scores on offense – and 5 tackles – 4.5 for loss on defense).
2025 LB Lantz Pascal, Davie Nova, finished with 8 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 2 Fumble recoveries for touchdowns.
Playing just one half for the defending 1S champion Naples First Baptist, 2026 WR Jayden Petit Jayden Petit 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR Naples First Baptist | 2026 FL had 4 catches 143 yards 2 TD.
In a tough opening loss, 2026 WR/S Bryce Backus Bryce Backus 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH J.W. Mitchell | 2026 FL , J.W Mitchell had 9 catches for 122 yards and 1 TD, 1 carry – 13 yards and 13 tackles on defense.
Versatile 2025 Vero Beach St. Edward’s prospect Ethan Ball had a big night with 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recover and 15 tackles on defense. Offensively, he finished with 2 carries for 21 yards and 1 rec for 60 yards 1 TD.
