Canton GlenOak
Dacodis Davis, RB/LB, 2024 – Dacodis is a stud athlete on both sides of the ball. He is explosive and twitchy. At RB has great vision and burst. He hits the edge quickly and pulls away from defenders. He runs tough up the middle and can take a hit. He is wiggly in the open field and makes defenders miss. On defense at LB has good ability to read and react. He maintains his gaps and gets over the top when needed. He is a good technical tackler with hip drive and wrap. He makes plays in the backfield on the blitz and drops into coverage with his head on a swivel. Sky is the limit for this young man.
Clayton Harvey, QB, 2025 – Clayton is a player to keep an eye on the NE Ohio area. He is big and physical with all the tools to be a good one. Standing 6’3 and weighing 215, he has the height and weight to see over the line and take a hit. He has good command of the offense. His mechanics are above average keeping his lower body and eyes in sync. He makes great deep throws to go along with touch on the short throws. Impressive ability to read the full field and make the proper throw. He is athletic enough to hurt you with his legs. Keep tabs on him this season.
Austin Morrison Austin Morrison 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Glenoak | 2024 OH , TE, 2024 – Austin is a budding star at the TE position. His film is primarily blocking, which he does with tenacity. He is tall at 6’3 with room to put on a solid 30 pounds. He aligns in all sorts of ways and his skill set is utilized in his alignments. He gets off the snap with quickness and power. He zone blocks well to either side. He seals the edge on outside run plays and is patient to the second and third level. He gets after the LB’s inside and the safeties outside with aggression. I can see him running great routes and being a matchup nightmare in the MOF. He plays multiple sports and carries a high GPA. His film and skills are worth keeping an eye on in 2024.
Canton McKinley
KJ Kelley, CB, 2024 – KJ is a great athlete and multi sport star for the Bulldogs. He is fast, athletic, and twitchy. I love his physicality in man coverage. He has the speed to make up ground when beat. He plays the ball through the hands and battles for the 50/50 ball. He zone covers well with good vision and technique. He explodes when the ball is caught and delivers blows to the ball carrier. He has a knack for takeaways and can score with the ball in his hands. Keep an eye on him in 2023.
Braylan Foster, DE, 2024 – Braylan is a underrated rising star. He plays and competes on the edge well. His stance is coiled and ready for action. He comes off the snap quickly with a powerful punch. He lockouts well keeping his eyes in the backfield. He maintains his gaps on ball too and works quickly over the top on ball away. Reads the zone well and it is hard to out flank him. Bends well in his pass rush and gets to the QB with aggression. Looking forward to seeing his 2023 season.
