Natural route runner with quickness and agility to separate and create mismatches against bigger defenders. Initial quickness and burst give him the ability to create chunk plays. Only needs a tiny crease to make something happen to showcase good vision. Ability to come to a complete stop to freeze a defender and then accelerate to top speed in an instant.
Kinnard shows speed down the seam but short-armed it when he knew he was going to take a shot. He runs a diverse route tree out of the backfield and from wide alignments. He can catch the ball in traffic and adjust to off-target throws. He knows how to set up a route to create separation. He has a variety of hesitations and dead legs to gain leverage on defenders both as a route runner and ball carrier.
