Join us this summer as we do full scale film breakdowns for the top 100 ranked players in the state of Mississippi. We continue today with numbers 20-16.

20. [player_tooltip player_id='344082' first='Anthony' last='Maddox'] - Oak Grove

What does the tape say?

Football is in the bloodline of the Oak Grove star QB. The Warriors are on of the favorites in MS for 2023 largely due to the QB play. Adequate frame with good arm length for the position. True dual-threat guy that can win with arm or legs. Good decision maker in both the run and pass game, knowing when to stay in the pocket with feel or escape with legs. Strong kid with room to get stronger. Takes care of the ball. Clean throwing motion with quick release at the top. Has been tested by good level of competition. Traditional spread fit guy. Texas A&M commit.

Position Projection: Quarterback

19. [player_tooltip player_id='616693' first='Kobe' last='Williams'] - Amory

What does the tape say?

Lower cut frame that has length and fits as a tackle at the next level. Strong, particularly in the lower half. Takes on defenders and finishes blocks thru the whistle, taking his man totally out of the play. Road grader from a run blocking perspective. Gets downhill well given size and shows athletic ability in the process. Feet show swiftness without being choppy. Area of improvement in traditional pass sets, mainly due to some rawness in the area. Looks to be able to maximize body frame and stick as a tackle at the next level. University of Memphis commit.

Position Projection: Offensive Tackle

18. [player_tooltip player_id='311644' first='Will' last='Echoles'] - Houston

What does the tape say?

Compact, thick body style that showcases plenty of strength from the top down. Production across the offensive front and on the defensive line. True motor can be seen all the way thru the play. Plays at proper pad level with fluid freedom of movement and overall twitch. Can get to second level of blocking scheme with ease when asked. Echoles packs a punch coming at you and means business. Due to frame best projects on the interior offensive line. Ole Miss commit.

Position Projection: Offensive Guard

17. [player_tooltip player_id='273258' first='Trey' last='Petty'] - Starkville

What does the tape say?

Elite production thru his high school career can not be argued accounting for 47 touchdowns last season. Another true dual-threat guy that can win with arm or legs. Size overall doesn't "wow", but is enough. Technically smooth all the way thru. Ball is delivered with a quick release and ease. Arm is strong and he knows how to use that multiple ways. Plays with exceptional wide receiver talent and he knows how to work thru them. Good feel for the pocket and what is happening around him. Potential to be dynamic playmaker at the next level. Current University of Illinois commit.

Position Projection: Quarterback

16. [player_tooltip player_id='139596' first='Noreel' last='White'] - St. Martin

What does the tape say?

Traditional athletic build for a wideout/corner. Impressive overall athletically, not only as a straight-line runner but in and out of cuts and breaks, as well as an all-around route runner - which is most likely his best current attribute. Has initial burst that can taper. Physical and plays to and thru contact when need be. Good feel for where he needs to be. Brings a lot to the table for an offense. Recruitment re-opened in early August after being committed to Arkansas.

Position Projection: Wide Receiver
