As we update the Class of 2025 PRZ Texas Rankings, we spotlight several players who have “Star Power”.
Moore is an electric player, who is phone booth quick, he has the ability to get to his top gear quickly, which enables him to get on top of defensive backs in a hurry and he has the speed to get vertical and stretch the defense deep. Dakorien excels at runs after the catch, he is shifty in the open field making him a matchup nightmare and he has the explosiveness to separate from defenders to make a house call from any down and distance. He has sticky hands, he attacks the football with a purpose and his crisp route running allows him to win matchups consistently. Moore was a key cog in the Duncanville offensive attack captured a 6A Division I Championship in 2022. He scorched defenses averaging over 17 yards per catch, hauling 44 grabs for 764 yards and 6 touchdowns catches. Moore is an elite sprinter who was apart of the Panthers 4×200 gold medal winning squad that won a state title and he ran a 10.63 100m this past spring. Texas, Ohio State, Oregon, USC, LSU and Georgia are just a few of many college programs who have recognized the “Star Power” that Moore possesses. Moore returns to haunt defenses in 2023 as Duncanville prepares to defend their title in 2023.

Sanchez has a long, lean athletic frame, he has violent hands at the point of attack that enable him to get hands on his opponents early to redirect their routes and his extended reach allows him to play the passing lanes aggressively shutting down open lanes. Devin has superb, clean footwork, he transitions into his backpedal smoothly, Sanchez has oily hips that enable him to flip, turn and run with receivers in coverage staying locked in at the hip. Sanchez plays the run aggressively under control and he closes on the ball carrier with violent intentions. Devin has the “Star Power” that college programs covet in shutdown cornerbacks. Sanchez was a key contributor a North Shore defense that returned to the 6A Division I Championship versus Duncanville in 2022 but came short in 28-21 battle. LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Ohio State are on the double digit list of suitors who are high on Sanchez making him one of the top players in Texas regardless of position.
