Continue ReadingCastle displayed solid play on both sides of the ball. First off he had a solid rushing performance to the tune of two touchdowns one on the ground and one as a receiver.
In addition, Castle utilized his 6’4 230 pound frame to pick up key first downs and get many yards after contact.
Also, he had solid play as an edge rusher. Helping to stifle a Union rushing attack. He made solid plays on the edge and, he did a little bit of everything to help propel RV to the win.
Young was a steady force for St. Thomas as he created many explosive plays on the ground. He ended his day with three touchdowns on the day.
He showed not only does he have good contact balance and strong legs, but he some juice when inthe open field
Young also made plays as a linebacker and edge rusher. Showing why he was one of, if not the best player on the field.
Undoubtedly the most explosive player on the field Lewis set the tone early. He took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, he also scored on a rushing play later in the game.
Lewis is one of those players where all he needs is the ball in his hands to make something happen. Devron is 5’7 160 pounds and he’s a patient runner who has the ability to change gears when he needs to.
Lewis is a relatively less-known prospect but he woke people up on Day 2 of BATB. He currently holds two offers from Saint Anslem and New Haven.
Duana’s performance wasn’t overly flashy but I felt he was just as effective as Castle early on in his game he seemed to be very effective on those jet sweeps when RV’s seemed like the offense had hit a dry spell.
Duana’s performance wasn’t as gaudy as Castle’s but he had a subtle impact on the game and made his presence be felt.
Duana at 5’10 150 pounds was able to carve out a niche role to help his team to a victory.
