Chaparral class of 2025 quarterback Dash Beierly Dash Beierly 6’1″ | 215 lbs | QB Mater Dei | 2025 State CA visited and camped at Minnesota this weekend and enjoyed the trip.
Beierly told 247Sports that he took a tour of the campus, football facility and stadium in addition to meeting with some coaches. On Saturday he participated in a camp and had to leave shortly after.
He said that Minnesota has moved into his top five. The talented junior currently holds 14 offers.
Highlights
Sierra Canyon offensive lineman Eugene Brooks Eugene Brooks 6’4″ | 325 lbs | OL Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Oklahoma last Tuesday.
Brooks was one of the top offensive linemen at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp and is one of the top offensive linemen in the state.
He chose Oklahoma over 16 other schools that offered him. In addition to visiting Oklahoma, he took a visit to Texas on June 16.
Brooks is the second player from California in Oklahoma’s 2024 recruiting class, joining Davon Mitchell from Los Alamitos who reclassified into the 2024 class.
Lakewood offensive lineman Jay Tauala-Harris Jay Tauala-Harris 6’4″ | 260 lbs | OL Lakewood | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to San Jose State on Sunday.
He was an All-Moore League tackle at Lakewood last season but projects as an interior offensive lineman at the college level.
Tauala-Harris also had offers from Hawaii and Lincoln of California. He is the third player from Southern California in San Jose State’s 2024 recruiting class.
Orange Vista offensive lineman and long snapper Corey Johnson Corey Johnson 6’2″ | 275 lbs | OL Orange Vista | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Northern Arizona last Friday.
Earlier last week, he announced his final four schools were Georgetown, Morgan State, New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.
He is the first player from California in Northern Arizona’s 2024 recruiting class.
