Let’s meet the nine players that popped out to us throughout North Dakota.
Stat Line: 13 receptions, 247 receiving yards, three touchdowns.
In a shootout in Week 1 with Bismarck Century, Keyton McGregor Keyton McGregor 6’1″ | 170 lbs | WR West Fargo | 2024 State ND managed to break two West Fargo Packers school records for receptions in a game as well as receiving yards. Keyton showed off on tape plenty of burst against the Patriots and instinctive use of his footwork as both were used consistently to burn the Patriots secondary. Where Keyton certainly stepped up from my last viewing is with his football IQ, as he knew how to position himself steps ahead of the secondary by showing how active his turning catch radius was on the road in Bismarck. I am certainly surprised this kid doesn’t have his first offer yet. Twitter
Stat Line: 14/20 passing, 378 total yards, five touchdowns.
I loved watching the huge amount of poise come out for Grand Forks Red River quarterback Pearce Parks Pearce Parks 6’2″ | 205 lbs | QB Grand Forks Red River | 2025 State ND in Week 1. Regardless if this young man was dealing from inside of the pocket or deeply out of it, he just showed off a smooth knack of where he was going with the football and also showed off precision on his routes as well. He as also developed well with his touch on his throws, as Pearce consistently against Jamestown used the proper arm strength for each throw he showed off on tape and shows that he doesn’t lose arm strength when throwing from the run at all. Stat Line: 19 carries, 154 rushing yards, two touchdowns.
Barry showed off the impressive twitch of agility consistently on his Week 1 tape, as no matter if it was deep in opponent territory or off his first step, he showed off plenty of fluidity with his change of direction. The accelerator of this kid shows off extremely quickly upon getting the ball in his hands and I like what I have persistently seen on tape with how he runs from start to finish as there is is plenty of stamina with his burst. Barry is another one deserving of that first offer as somehow he’s way more under the radar than he should be heading into September. Twitter

Stat Line: 147 total yards, four touchdowns, one kick return, one interception, three pass break ups.
Joseph started off his Week 2 by showing off those long downhill strides where he took a kick return for a touchdown as this kid keeps impressing with how much burst he has especially in the open field. Consistently on his wide receiver reps, Joseph is shows off a wide receiver you have to let him go get it as he has locked in attention to detail with his constantly improving vision in the receiving core even though he’s our DB1 in the Dakotas. He showed off a growing catch radius and those agile steps took one defender out of their shoes, as Joseph keeps delivering big games week after week in his junior season for the Thunder. Twitter
Highlights
Stat Line: 36 yard field goal, four touchbacks, three extra points.
Unleashing our first kicker to the PRZ Dakotas Big Dogs of the Week, we meet Fargo South’s Keaton Docken Keaton Docken 6’1″ | 155 lbs | K Fargo South | 2025 State ND who to say the least, was pulverizing the ball in the Bruins 36-6 victory over Williston. The stats speak for themselves, but watching Keaton’s tape from the Williston game, he gave the Coyotes special teams unit no chances as he kicks not only hammered into the back of the end zone, I also liked the hangtime he showed with them. He also made a 36 yard field goal that clearly showed a kicking leg that can reach for well over 40 yards which I would expect Keaton to get some chances for this season. Keaton is a kicker with a high ceiling as our #1 kicker in North Dakota who was big in his first game of the season. Twitter

Stat Line: TBD
Tee was a prospect that impressed me on tape in Week 2 although I did not have his stats yet. Tee has improved with his athletic mobility on both sides of the ball since I saw him at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen last spring, as he looks like he is growing confidence with the athleticism he has in 6’3 190 pound body on both sides of the ball. Tee impressed me most from the defensive end position in Week 2, as he showed off sizable range and reach that could extend his body outside of the inside box with all the size and depth he brings to the table. He also showed reactive hands coming off the edge against Hankinson as I believe his tape showed off even more versatility that Tee could bring more size to a college locker room coming off the EDGE. You certainly have position flexibility with him at the next-level. Twitter

Stat Line: TBD
Hank showed off from his first rep on his Week 2 tape that this kid has churned up his lower body this summer in the weight room, as it took an army to bring down Hank to the turf with the durability he has with him. Hank also continued to show how much of a smash-mouth middle linebacker he is at the point of attack, as this shows off consistently on his Week 2 tape as well as his intriguing vision he has for both sides of the ball. Hank is a workhorse on both sides of the ball and showed off why on tape why he’s one of my favorite linebackers in North Dakota’s 2025 class. Twitter
