Norvis Martinez – 2024 – LB – East Paulding
Martinez is an old-school, violent thumper at the LB position who instantly draws eyes from all over the stadium. Coming in at 6’0 230, Martinez is an extremely muscular prospect who carries his weight exceptionally well. Off the bus, he is an extremely intimidating prospect. As you could expect, Martinez is a physical force who can wreak havoc in the front seven. He has the size to take on and even displace blockers. He also strikes ball carriers with extreme force, absorbing contact well. He also has the arm strength to snatch ball carriers and ragdoll them to the turf. Simply put, Martinez is a wrecking ball tackler who can completely annihilate ball carriers on any given play. For a prospect hovering around the 230 mark, Martinez is sneakily good in space. He has the explosiveness and reaction time to quickly break on screens and other underneath routes, popping unexpected receivers with enough force to knock the ball loose. He can also get after the QB, showing good pursuit skills and the speed to flush the passer from the interior. Martinez might not get P5 buzz, but he is a force in the front seven and is worthy of a long look.
Jamarian Pullum Jamarian Pullum 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Adairsville | 2025 GA – 2025 – ATH – Adairsville
Pullum is getting things done on both sides of the ball this season and has emerged as one of the best sleepers in the NWGA area. Pullum comes in at 6’1 190 with plenty of length and room to go. He is also a verified track athlete, which clearly translates to Friday nights. Pullum gets most of his action out at CB, where his length and speed work to his advantage. He plays a lot of off-man coverage and zone coverage. He can read and react pretty well, adjusting to the WRs route combination downfield or quickly breaking downhill to strike the ball carrier. Pullum can run with anyone and maintain tight coverage. He also does a good job of attacking the catch pocket of the receiver, poking and fighting away at the football with his long arms. With the ball in his hands in open field, Pullum really shows the ability to open up his stride and break away from tacklers. For a lankier mover, Pullum shows the ability to change directions and make space for himself quickly. Pullum holds a few small-school offers and could pop on some D1 radars with continued growth this year.
Marshun Horton – 2025 – ATH – Central
Horton is a two-way prospect with some very intriguing upside. Horton comes in at an impressive 6’4 180 and is on the field at either WR or DB for most of the snaps during the game. Horton is a competitive player who plays with an edge. At WR, he shows that he is both a willing and capable blocker. He can knock defenders off their feet and can also push blockers downfield if needed. At DB, he has surprisingly good change-of-direction skills for a young prospect of his size. He appears to be at his best when he comes downhill to strike, but he has the length to step up and press on the line if needed. Horton looks the most natural at WR, where his long strides allow him to gradually get behind safeties. He poses a real threat in the deep passing game and has the obvious frame to be a large target for the QB. Horton is still raw, but he has the size and athleticism to make a name for himself on the recruiting trail over the next two years.
Zo Smalls – 2025 – RB – Savannah Christian Prep
Smalls has had back-to-back weeks of solid production and is starting to raise his stock. At 5’9 190, Smalls looks the part of RB with a low center of gravity and solid leg drive for a prospect of his size. Smalls is a scrappy, decisive runner who shifts his way through the front seven and has enough twitchiness to operate in tight confinements. Smalls showcases really good contact balance, showing the ability to shrug off shoulder tackles and recover well after being tripped up. Smalls doesn’t have great breakaway speed, but he hits openings with authority and stays north and south as a runner, fighting for as many extra yards as he can possibly get. Smalls has shown some promise in the passing game, taking screens and waiting for blocks to develop as he deliberately makes his way downfield. Smalls is a scrappy, between-the-tackles runner who can pierce the armor of the defense on any given snap and make something out of nothing.
