Oregon Preseason All State (1A-4A) OFFENSE

Here we take a look at the top athletes returning within Oregon, while combining the 1A-4A classification levels. It's tough getting recruited while playing small school ball, but the state has produced numerous D1/NFL athletes over the last few decades at the lower classification level, making this list that much more intriguing..           Summary: It's early but [player_tooltip player_id='769993' first='Rasean' last='Jones'] out of Baker HS has the potential of being one of the top receivers ever to come out of the state. He will project as a major D1 recruit.   I'm intrigued to see what Ashland does in their first year at the 4A level. Most know that the Grizzlies were an Oregon power at the highest level for many years but will drop down to 4A. QB [player_tooltip player_id='285886' first='JoJo' last='Harrower'] and his 6-3/6-4 WR's are legit in [player_tooltip player_id='152353' first='Caden' last='Negra'] and [player_tooltip player_id='893366' first='Crosby' last='Lehnerz'].   Separate from Harrower, the small school QB's have size and a ton of potential. [player_tooltip player_id='511860' first='Max' last='Nowlin'] helped his team to the 4A state semis as a sophomore, beating the #1 team in the state in Mazama. They were led by QB/S [player_tooltip player_id='738761' first='Tyson' last='Van Gastel'], who was one of the only players at any level to earn all state accolades on both sides of the football.    Many still aren't aware of 6-4 200-pound WR/S [player_tooltip player_id='738764' first='Eddie' last='Freauff'] who recently committed to Oregon St. He was an honorable mention all-conference DB last season but has gone under the radar playing out in Prineville.    Cascade HS is one of the fastest rising programs in the NW. They have multiple young guys coming up who could be special, including 6-3 300-pound D-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='769923' first='Bryce' last='May'] and possibly one of the top 27's in the country in [player_tooltip player_id='935357' first='Josiah' last='Hawkins']. If projections are accurate he will be a high-level national recruit.   Both of the TE's will likely play D1 ball, with 6-6 [player_tooltip player_id='383828' first='Noah' last='Holub'] upping his stock a great deal over the off season, and 6-7 220-pound rodeo champ [player_tooltip player_id='902382' first='Cody' last='Siegner'] out of 1A Crane looking like the real deal.    Oregon 2A player of the year Jamar Thurman out of Lowell is an athlete I'm sure very few have heard of. He won the award as a sophomore, making the honor that much more impressive.    Last but not least, reigning 3A state champion Cascade Christian who returns talented WR/TE Peyton Maurer, but lose 3A Offensive POY [player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] who transferred to South Medford. They also lose the services of WR and the state POY in Hoops [player_tooltip player_id='545637' first='Andrew' last='(Drew) Hall'] who moved to Arizona.
