Moss is a can’t miss prospect standing 6’5 265. He is the type of sizes, strength, and IQ a college coach drools over. He is just a baby but does not play like it man handling defenders on the defensive line. I personally think this is the overall #1 prospect in the 2027 class. He is in the mold of a Michael Oher the way he moves and how nice he is as a person. He has a basketball background that taught him to have light and quick feet. He projects as an offensive tackle on the next level. He played in his first JV game last week and did not disappoint. He was throwing kids all over the field, but the most impressive thing he did was on defense. The ball was thrown on a swing pass, Caden is at defensive end. He rushes then redirects in hot pursuit of the runner taking him down by the numbers almost out of bounce. This is something uncommon for such a young player to have that type of motor and wheels to track down a skill player when you weigh 265 pounds. This kid is one to keep your eyes on for years to come. I know he is a top player for sure garnering 2 offers already to New Mexico State and Akron respectively, but to see how highly he will be ranked is yet to be seen.
London Simmons London Simmons 6'3" | 265 lbs | DL Hartfield Academy | 2025 State MS 2025 Defensive Lineman
Simmons is a big human being standing at 6’3 300 pounds for the Hartfield Hawks. He uses this size to be extremely disruptive in the backfield leading the way for the top ranked defense of the Hawks. He has good initial quickness for such a big guy and uses power to create knock backs along the offensive line. Physciality is the name of the game for Simmons. During film breakdown you constantly see him pushing guards and tackles into the backfield 2 gapping then when he sheds the blocks to make the tackle he explodes into the ball carrier. He is one kid you wonder why he has no offers due to him passing the eye test, but as an observer you can see this is a very good high school player. His recruitment should pick up as the season goes along but I think he will make the biggest impact this offseason when he can answer any questions school’s may have about his game at their camps.
Deshawn Dillon Deshawn Dillon 6'3" | 165 lbs | WR Northwest Rankin | 2027 State MS 2027 Receiver
Dillon is a long intriguing prospect for the 2027 class. He is the top basketball player in the state 2027 also, but many do not know of his football skills. He is 6’3 already as a freshmen so he passes the eye test for college recruiters. His basketball background helps him in football as far as soft hands and contorting his body in the air the make tough grabs exemplifying his excellent ball skills. He already won a championship in basketball as an 8th grader playing big time minutes averaging around 10ppg. In his first high school football game he exploded for 9 catches 200 yards and 2 tds. Not too bad for a basketball player most people would label him as. The kid just has that God given ability that you can’t teach, and he trains for the rest of what he cant get naturally so look for this kid to be a top player in his class. His length, work ehtic, and ball skills is what sets him apart. How he develops in the route running category will determine where he will end in the recruiting cycle for his grade, the sky is the limit for this prospect without a doubt.
Jay Bowie 2025 ATH
Bowie comes from a family of athletes down in Morton, MS and he is another chip off the ole block. He is small in stature but plays the game like he is 6’5. Heart over height with this kid and I love the way he approaches the game. He is probably the quickest player for sure in the 2025 class of players, and it really shows in basketball as a point guard. His main sport is basketball, leading his team to coliseum losing in the semi final game. He showed his leadership and toughness that game going extremely taller players than himself. He has that type of attitude you gotta show me in everything he does. In football he plays multiple positions such as receiver and defensive back. They like to get the ball to him in space and let him do his thing. Last game he got open on a wheel route for a touchdown against their cross town rivalry; sparking a debate of what player you know that can give you 20 on the basketball court and score multiple touchdowns in the same season. There are a few that come to mind, and that puts him in elite company. Bowie will most likely choose basketball as his sport for college, but as far as high school this kid is a nice prospect if used in the right system.
Lazaruis Brown 2025 WR
Brown is a kid that jumped off the film when I watched Morton vs. Scott Central. He really has alot of twitch about his game judging by the releases and sticks I seen him make to get open that game. He stands about 5’11 but he looks like he’s taller on film. He didnt catch alot of balls that game, but I seen a hidden gem with this kid. I would love to see him workout in person to see how good he truly is and where does he fit in that 2025 class of receivers. Everything I seen that game screams this kid has the athlete.
