A new season of high school football is upon us! Whether you're preparing for camp, already in a camp, or you can just smell the air starting to get footballish, it's that time of the year a new class is added to Prep Redzone.

What makes us unique is the universal coverage from Middle School to High School. Why I think that makes a difference is because you can see how a player is developing. Alan Popadines does an elite job with Prep Redzone Next and making sure no stone goes unturned when looking for talent. I've found that early Prep Redzone Rankings can very well help later rankings elsewhere. Football is an evergrowing sport with more talent in Indiana than people realized until now. I can honestly say that I do all of this because I enjoy it and because I hope that somewhere I'm helping a young man reach the next step of a life goal.

All of that being said, the way I'm doing the 2027 rankings will be a bit different. To start, every recruit is going into the WL. Once they are seeing significant Varsity time, I'll move them to the full rankings list. I also acknowledge that is fairly subjective, but the reason for this idea to start is to see who jumps up, where, and when. The belief here is that it can really help hone in on player development.

A few things to note, the WL is not rankable, so it's more or less random. Your order there will not matter.

Lastly, I tweet out here and there that I try to be interactive with this process because I find it's the best way to get feedback and get better myself.
