Both reaching the playoffs last season in their first years of 5A football. These are two high powered programs that graduated some significant pieces from last years squad. Nampa will have to replace one of the best senior classes in school history and Middleton is replacing some serious talent at quarterback and on defense. This game is going to come down to who can stop each other running game as both schools lean on stellar running backs to help them get their offense started. What has separated the two programs from the rest of the schools in 5A last season was their ability to play disciplined on both sides of the football.
