Jayce Unverferth
Jayce Unverferth
Jayce Unverferth is a pass catching tight end that can stretch the field with his size and speed. Has good size at 6-foot-3 to be a big target in short or long yardage situations. Unverferth is a solid route runner with the ability to make contested catches with a strong pair of hands. Maintains good body control to adjust his body back to the ball on difficult throws. Has good strength to release off defenders and get on his route. Shows good speed for yardage after the catch. Had a high volume of catches in his junior seasons, more than most from the tight end position in high school. Shows next level skills as a pass catcher on the line, with another season at the position he should draw more attention to his game. Plays on defense as well as an outside linebacker with good ability to play in coverage. Uses his instincts to keep proper spacing on his man with the close out speed to break up passes or create turnovers. Shows good speed coming in from the edge to stop runs. Unverferth attended a number of camps this offseason and showed off his strong hands along the way. He looked loaded for a big senior year as one of the top returning tight ends.

You don’t want to be lined up against Sean Doyle Sean Doyle 6’2″ | 295 lbs | OL Kenston | 2024 State OH for four quarters of a game. Defenders don’t come away with clean uniforms against Doyle as a pancake machine. His strength is not in question as one of the strongest offensive linemen returning this season. He doesn’t rely just on his above average strength to upend his man, Doyle has good form in both run blocks and pass pro because of his leverage. Keeps his head low and his arms locked to attack when facing off in the trenches. Is an aggressive player to the whistle each and every play to set the tone for the next one. Has quick footwork that he uses regularly to churn up players the moment they let up on him. Plays tackle and guard at a high level. Acts as a wrecking ball when on pulls because of his speed and footwork. If his man is able to slip away, he is quick to move around and punish any defender standing around before the end of the play. Doyle is as good of a linemen as you will see anywhere in the state with his aggression and power. He has several offers to schools such as Tiffin, Ohio Dominican and Clarion, but is a player with Division I potential.

Max Thompson
Max Thompson
Max Thompson is a threat to create a turnover whenever he is roaming on defense. A player that understands where he needs to be on the field on every play, Thompson has great awareness for the play developing around him to strike when a quarterback least expects it. Has good speed to close off plays in a hurry. Keeps his eyes locked on the quarterback when dropping into coverage while reading the players around him. Is dangerous in zone coverage to break up passes with regularity. Has quick-twitch abilities to shift his body and come up to make plays. Good size at 6-foot to make difficult plays when the ball is at its highest point of attack. Isn’t afraid of contact, can deliver big hits or trip up runners. His skills translate on offense as a wide receiver with good ability to keep the sticks moving. Has good presence on offense with tight sideline passes to haul in passes and quickly get out of bounds. Thompson is a natural athlete that elevates his game with his ability to quickly read plays and react to them. Has grabbed the attention of a few schools, but is a player that should see even more attention in his senior year.

Robert Cocroft
Robert Cocroft
Robert Cocroft is a chunk-yardage running back with excellent burst to keep his offense moving forward in rhythm. With 4.6 speed to get him into the second level in a flash, Cocroft hits his running lanes hard and explodes into the next level. Has compact size he uses to his advantage to dish out contact while keeping steady balance to keep moving. Is a player that does not go down easily or at first contact. A playmaker in the passing game as well that can do a lot in limited space. Is a major contributor on defense as well as a cornerback with the ability to shed blocks and end plays quickly. Is a clean tackler that can deliver big hits, but doesn’t let his man get away. Keeps his body low to upend players coming around the edge. Is a creative tackler that will commit any part of him to help bring down a ball carrier. Has had a big summer with several big camps including Penn State and the Kent State mega camp leading to offers from Otterbein and Wittenberg. Cocroft commits to each play with full effort and is a menace in his film because of it. His impact on both sides of the ball make him a very exciting player to watch out for this fall.
