Division 2 Preseason All-State Defense

I expect a huge year from him!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='899576' first='Brendon' last='Rice'] - North Farmington - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A super great D-Lineman in the OAA. Film backs up his offers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='602070' first='Michael' last='Chude'] - Roseville - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the best D-Linemen in the state. A great arsenal of moves as a DT or DE. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='430963' first='Jaxson' last='Engelberg'] - Caledonia - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A super hard worker who I believe is bound for a breakout Senior Season in the OK-Red! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - Derek Pennington Jr - Caledonia - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pennington is a relentless, highly-reactive linebacker. Played extremely well in the state championship last season, and will continue to do great things before he heads to Western Michigan. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='188043' first='Huston' last='Eubank'] - Roseville - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another Western commit, Huston is a great outside linebacker with a ton of great on-ball skills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='814546' first='Isaiah' last='Veatch'] - Waterford Mott - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Veatch is a menacing linebacker who is set to lead the Waterford Mott defense. He's performed extremely well at offseason camps and is bound to perform great this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='824219' first='Andrew' last='Baker'] - Mona Shores - Senior </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A "field general" type of middle linebacker, Andrew is very smart and well-rounded. I know he's good in pass coverage, and I'm confident he'll do so well in all-around play that he'll earn all-state honors. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='899599' first='Ike' last='Stufft'] - Milford - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the best linebackers in Michigan that nobody is talking about. [player_tooltip player_id='899599' first='Ike' last='Stufft'] is an aggressive and hard-hitting run defender with a high ceiling! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='899621' first='Chris' last='Little'] - Groves - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chris had one of the best seasons of any DB last season. He's extremely reactive, great hips, and is very instinctual. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - Zach Rogers - Groves - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Groves has a major no-fly zone this season. Rogers had an incredible sophomore season, a good season last year, and is set up to stand out again this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='827802' first='Jalen' last='McFadden'] - East Lansing - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McFadden blew scouts away with some of his offseason performances, and it earned him a few DII offers. I fully expect him to play at an all-state level this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='899627' first='Dalton' last='Drogosh'] - De La Salle - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is a gut feeling more than anything. Knowing how De La Salle develops players and knowing the Drogosh name, I expect Dalton to have a great season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
