Mount Vernon HS: Michael Johnson c/o 2025. Michael has great touch on his deep passes, accurately placing the ball in his WR’s hands. He extends plays with his feet and can escape from defensive players trying to drag him down. He is going to have a fantastic junior year after showcasing a lot of talent on the field last year.
Ferndale HS: Bishop Ootsey c/o 2024. Ootsey is very athletic, being able to extend plays with his feet easily. He has great speed and is one of the more difficult QB’s to take down. Bishop plays under control on the field, being able to deliver quick accurate darts to his receivers even when he is on the run.
Arlington HS: Leyton Martin Leyton Martin 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Arlington | 2025 State WA c/o 2025. Leyton is a great athlete. He can deliver great passes sitting inside the pocket or while he is scrambling to the outside of the pocket with his feet. He is just as big of a threat with his legs so the defense has to stay on their toes for when he could scramble for yardage. Martin is going to have a very solid season for Arlington this year.
Marysville-Getchell HS: Arion Palacol c/o 2025. Arion is another great dual-threat QB’s in the state of Washington. Palacol uses his feet very well when he needs, being able to escape from pressure. When rolling outside the pocket, he delivers passes right into the perfect spot of his WR’s arms allowing them to continue thier momentum for positive yardage.
Marysville-Pilchuck HS: Luke Shoemaker c/o 2024. Luke is a big framed quarterback standing at around 6’0″ and 200 pounds. He can take hits well and bounce right back up from big ones. He has a big time arm that can sling the ball far through the air. He doesn’t force much and makes the right decision more times than not.
Oak Harbor HS: Parker Anderson c/o 2024 or Connor Cash c/o 2025. From what I have heard from players on this Oak Harbor team, these are the two guys who will likely see playing time at the QB position. These two are great athletes who can scramble with the ball as well. Connor is a bit undersized, but makes up for it with his abilities to escape from pressure.
Stanwood HS: Luke Brennan c/o 2025 or Shawn Porter c/o 2026. Luke was the starting QB last season for this very run heavy Stanwood offense. He showed flashes of good things, being able to evade tacklers in the backfield nicely and delivering solid throws from time to time. Shawn is an up and coming QB I have been hearing about who could see some time this year given his talent on the field. Either way this Stanwood team will likely run the ball more.
