Conference Breakdowns: QB’s in the 1A Evergreen Conference

<p>In this new series of articles, I will be posting positional breakdowns by conference so you can get to know who might be taking the field next season. For this article, I will be talking about the quarterbacks within the 1A Evergreen Conference.</p>

<p><strong>Eatonville HS</strong>: <em>Hunter Klumpar c/o 2024</em>. Hunter was the starter was last season on a team that went 9-3 and played teams very well each week. Hunter had great size, standing around 6'2". He stands confident in the pocket and delivers quick balls.</p>

<p><strong>Elma HS</strong>: <em>Carter Studer c/o 2024</em>. Carter has a great arm and handles the pocket collapsing well. He hits his receivers in stride often and can roll out with his legs, if needed. He's going to have a big senior year and will be a top QB.</p>

<p><strong>Hoquiam HS</strong>: <em>Zander Jump c/o 2024</em>. Zander was the starting quarterback last year for this squad and is very, very athletic. He can extend plays with his legs and help keep the play alive by rolling outside the pocket. He is a freak athlete at the QB position and will be fun to watch, if he is the starter again.</p>

<p><strong>Montesano HS</strong>: <em>Jaxson Wilson c/o 2024</em>. Jaxson will get the start at the quarterback position this season after excelling on the baseball diamond for Montesano. He will be fun to watch during the season and will display his strong arm when the year gets underway.</p>

<p><strong>Tenino HS</strong>: <em>Cody Strawn c/o 2024</em>. Cody started last year and was a great dual threat quarterback on the field. He showcased tremendous athleticism, being able to evade tacklers in the backfield and turn it into positive yardage. He has a solid arm as well, he should have a great senior year this season.</p>
