The Wolves have averaged 34 ppg and have given up 28 ppg on defense. There are plenty of talented players on both teams. Here are five players to keep an eye on!
Justin had a great Sophomore season in ’22 and has been an awesome player for the Warriors this season. He plays as an OLB. He shows great burst off the ball and his excellent athleticism makes him difficult to block and he quickly penetrates the LOS. He is a great pass rusher who shows very good closing speed and does a great job of pressuring the QB. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and shows good play speed in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
Lyviel played well as a Sophomore in 2022 and is having a solid Junior year so far in ’23. he lines up in the slot and inline. He is a very good run blocker as he uses his good use of hands and play strength to negate the progress of the DE as he clears a lane for the RB. In the passing game, he shows good football intelligence as he finds the soft spot in zone coverage and displays good hands as he makes the catch. After the catch is made, he displays very good contact balance as he breaks tackles from DB with ease before picking up a first down.
Charles had a very good Junior season in 2022. He plays as a safety. While in coverage, he does a great job of reading the QB and locates the ball in the air. He displays very good closing speed in his attempt to put himself in position to make a play on the ball and he times his hands well as he disrupts the trajectory of the ball for a PBU. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass displays good athleticism while in pursuit, squares his shoulders and delivers an explosive tackle as he prevents a gain of significant yardage.
Connor Prewitt played very well in 2022. He plays as an OLB. Against the run, he shows very good hand use and play strength as he quickly disengages from the OT. He locates the RB and displays good physical toughness as he delivers a big hit near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he effectively reads the QB and shows good play speed and instincts as he takes the correct angle in pursuit of the RB who caught the ball in the flat. He uses his good play strength to make the tackle preventing a first down.

Mysaun had an excellent season in 2022. He displays very good vision as he finds the open hole and displays great burst through the hole as he accelerates to top speed quickly. He exhibits solid play speed combined with elite contact balance as he breaks tackles from DB and LB with ease in the open field before picking up a first down or scoring a TD. He displays excellent mental toughness as he rises to the occasion while in the redzone. He is very good in pass pro as he locates the blitzing LB, squares up and uses his good play strength as he delivers a crushing block giving the QB more time to pass the ball.
