CJ Hibbler CJ Hibbler 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Petoskey | 2024 State MI | Petoskey
Stats: 16 Carries, 201 Yards, At least 1 TD
Hibbler is back and he seems to be as good as ever. The Petoskey back tore the Ludington defense up, showcasing his phenomenal speed and burst on multiple occasions. That said, CJ proved that he’s still a Division 1 prospect after last year’s injury. This is someone who remains on the path to college greatness. CJ is a guy who has improved his game tremendously since I first met him a few years ago at our first Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase.
Jayden Terry Jayden Terry 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB Grandville | 2026 State MI | Grandville
Stats: 242 Yards, 5 TDs
Terry is considered to have had one of the best performances in the entire country during Week 1. In all honesty, I thought Grandville vs. Grand Blanc was going to be a pretty good game. I’m very high on Grandville this season, and I STILL think that Grand Blanc is a much improved team from last season. That said, Jayden put up these numbers against a good Division 1 team. 242 for 5 TDs is an insane statline. The first thing that jumped out at me while watching his Week 1 film is his burst and explosiveness. Jayden has the ability to explode out the backfield and get to top speed incredibly quickly. Second, there are multiple instances of good contact balance and drive through contact. Jayden is great at keeping his feet moving when engaging with contact, and he’s pretty good at staying upright as well.
Sam Rucker Sam Rucker 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Niles | 2025 State MI | Niles
Stats: 7 Carries, 195 Yards, 3TDs
A few players from Niles had incredible performances against St. Joseph (who went 9-2 last season). Sam Rucker Sam Rucker 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Niles | 2025 State MI was the best of the bunch, totaling 195 yards and 3 Touchdowns on ONLY 7 carries! That’s an unheard of 27.9 YPC and 7 carries is not an insignificant amount of touches. The three highlights below showcase great vision, speed, and flashes of open-field ability. He also has a monster block in his final highlight! With this performance alongside knowing some of Sam’s testing numbers, I am confident colleges have him on their radar.
Jesse Phillips Jesse Phillips 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB East Kentwood | 2026 State MI Jr | GR Union
Stats: 11 Carries, 245 Yards, 3 Touchdowns
Anyone with half a brain could see the obvious talent of Jesse Phillips Jesse Phillips 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB East Kentwood | 2026 State MI . Last week, he had himself a field day as RB1 for Union. The first thing that jumps out to me is his vision. There are multiple highlights on this tape that show phenomenal field vision and good open field ability- able to cut his way through defenders, find open space, and get as many yards as he possibly can. Jesse is one of those players that seems to see the game better than everyone else. Outside of the RB position, I believe Jesse is one of the best 2026 DBs in the entire state. I was able to watch Jesse a few times this past offseason, and he’s the real deal. In this Tweet he shows off a lot of his DB skills against great competition!
Myles Moore Myles Moore 6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH Avondale | 2024 State MI | Avondale
Stats: 15 Carries, 100 Yards, 3 Touchdowns
In a brand new offensive system, Myles Moore Myles Moore 6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH Avondale | 2024 State MI performed extremely well. Just reaching the 100-Yard mark, Myles showcased his burst and power in many runs that you’ll see below. Watch at the 1:00 mark where Myles is able to drag multiple defenders several yards, turning what would have been a 10-yard carry into a 25-yard carry with great balance and power.
Billy Roberson II Billy Roberson II 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Lake Orion | 2024 State MI | Lake Orion
Stats: 17 Carries, 119 Yards, 4 Touchdowns
The best bellcow running back in the Class of 2024 lit it up at The Big House last weekend. Facing a solid Livonia Stevenson team, Roberson was the focal point of the Dragon offense totaling 7YPC. The four touchdowns is of course the icing on the cake. I haven’t seen film from this specific game yet, but having watched a substantial amount of film from years prior plus seeing him in person, have a good idea of what the film looks like.
