Located in Edmonton, Alberta, O’Leary is home to plenty of hidden gems that deserve more recognition based on their play. I will be monitoring their 2023 squad, and look forward to viewing the highlight films that come at season’s end.

OL: Denato Tassone Denato Tassone 6'3" | 350 lbs | OL Arborship O'Leary | 2025 State CAD 6’2″ 290
An interior prospect with heavy hands, a solid base, and can lock onto one on one blocks. He speeds his feet on contact, has plenty of raw strength that he can develop, and has the quickness to get off the ball against speed rushers. I think if he can show consistent nastiness through the whistle, his upside is only going to be higher.
DB: Rian Touze Rian Touze 5'9" | 160 lbs | ATH Archbishop O’leary | 2024 State CAD , 5’9″ 154
This kid has a natural football IQ, he understands route concepts and where they’re trying to exploit, and he has the speed to make up for other people’s mistakes. He’s a physical tackler who likes sticking his nose in there in the run game, he stays over the top in zone and goes up & gets the football at its highest point. He’s a slippery block shedder out on the perimeter and can provide help with zone coverage overlaps.
WR: Trace Eberhardt, 6′, N/A
An upright runner with brisk change of direction, precise vision, and enough build-up speed to run away from the defense. Trace has outstanding body control through contact, he has the wiggle to make defenders miss, and has a certain aggressiveness as a ball carrier that’s hard to find at the wide receiver position.
DL: AJ Ballash, 6′ 225
Ballash has a refined pushed-pull technique, he can make effort tackles on the backside of runs if left unblocked and has a solid first step. He fights to keep his outside arm free on lateral runs towards him, he’s slick enough to slip interior double teams and has shown some positional flexibility. Based on his size and skillset I think he’ll kick outside at the next level.
DB: Adam Sobierajski, 5’8″ 165
I think Adam projects as a nickel at the next level based on his toughness, situational awareness, and ability to tackle within the box. He takes proper angles to the ball, hustles through the whistle, and plays fearless despite his size. He knows how to utilize the gator roll tackle and has the lateral quickness to slip blocks within the tackle box.
