Continue ReadingThe Queen Creek product is a very nice get for Boise State, and holds offers from Cornell and Air Force, and has been flying under the radar as a prospect over the last couple years of dominating the prep trenches. He is a natural bender in his stance, pops out and gets a hat on a hat quickly with an inside strike and can finish blocks downfield while able to scrape to linebackers and combo efficiently. Able to offer position versatility at the high school level, he should fit nicely inside at guard in college due to his frame, feet and length.
Laflamme committed to NAU in late July, and is rated as a two-star prospect per multiple recruiting sites and checks in just outside the top ten across the offensive line rankings in our most recent update. On tape, he shows good feet and lateral movement abilities for his size, while excelling in pass protection with patient and violent hands and a high IQ when picking up pressures and twists at the first level. In the run game, he can pull without taking false steps and kicks out with proper angles and hand violence while finishing blocks with some nasty intentions. Another athletic kid that could play either inside or outside at the next level, he has plus athleticism for the guard position and could see next level success there.
Nolan-Cook has tons of upside at the next level due to his untapped potential and length for the tackle position. He is light on his feet when snapping out of his stance and is strong enough to anchor down against power rushers and shows patients against countermoves back inside. He is a natural bender in his stance, snaps out quickly and shows a strong base when driving defenders off the ball and creates immediate vertical push in the run game while playing with good leverage and pad level for someone his size. Nolan-Cook is a no brainer FCS caliber kid at the next level once he continues to develop and currently holds one offer from the University of Sioux Falls.
