Nolan isn’t very “under the radar” to people in the area up here, but he is around the state. He started every game as a freshman last year and showed great composure and patience in the pocket. He is great using his feet, being able to roll out of the pocket to avoid pressure or take off and gain 10+ yards on a rush. Wright is accurate when rolling out of the pocket either way, efficently making his throws. He’s a great leader in the locker room and on the field, he will turn a lot of heads next fall.

Josh played his first 3 seasons at Squalicum HS but will be taking his skills across town to Bellingham HS, where his dad is coaching. Josh has great size for a quarterback as he stands 6’3″ and weighs around 210 pounds. He can take big hits and get up righty after and shake it off, showcasing his toughness on the field. He has an excellent long ball, accurately placing the ball in his receivers hands. He can throw it accurately inside the pocket or when he’s rolling out.

Carsten makes big plays on both sides of the ball, excelling as a quarterback and as a defensive back. He uses his feet well, being one of the quicker quarterbacks within the NWC. He runs the read-option extremely well, faking out defensive lineman with his decisions on keeping the ball or not. He has a high football IQ and shows that by reading defenses when they are set up and allowing his targets to complete their routes. He is one of the few lefty quarterbacks and has a beautiful long ball that is very accurate.

Brant shared time at the quarterback position last year, sometimes being the wildcat QB who would rush the ball. He did throw it from time to time and was accurate when he did. He has a quick release on his 2 step drop backs, keeping defenses on their toes. He has a huge frame, standing at 6’6″, so is going to be very tough to drag down. He’ll be the leader of the team next year as a junior and will try to lead the Lions to another state championship.
