Elijah Rushing Elijah Rushing 6’6″ | 255 lbs | DL Salpointe Catholic | 2024 State AZ made waves as the first five-star to commit to the University of Arizona. Rushing lives up to the bill on his film with an inside swim that helps him beat defenders quickly. He is a powerful young man who uses a hump move to left defenders off the ground and get to the quarterback. His bend displays his athleticism while having the speed to run down quarterbacks. Rushing is a star in the making, and Saguaro better be prepared for him.

Saguaro running back Jaedon Matthews Jaedon Matthews 5’11” | 185 lbs | RB Saguaro | 2024 State AZ is one most explosive players in the state. The three-star prospect is taking his talent to the ACC, coming to Georgia Tech in June. Matthews is a home run hitter with the ball in his hands and can turn any play into six. He shines as a kick returner using his blazing speed to give his team a spark when needed. In the passing game, Matthews will also be an x-factor on the field.
Highlights
JoJo Clark is a versatile two way player playing slot receiver and linebacker. As a receiver he is a great route runner getting in and out breaks quickly. Clark has reliable hands making receptions and is able to adjust to badly thrown passes to make plays. When playing linebacker he is a sure tackler wrapping up with great form. He can blitz as well making plays at the quarterback. Clark is underrated should get more buzz with a good season.

Offensive tackle Luis Cordova Luis Cordova 6’4″ | 295 lbs | OL Salpointe Catholic | 2024 State AZ , size 6’4, 295 pounds, forced his will on defenders. Cordova has a mean streak when he is on the field playing until the whistle every play. It leads to pancakes in the run game or when he gets to the second level on screen passes. He is clean in pass protection with good feet for his size and sound in his technique. Cordova displays that Salpointe is loaded in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Jakobi Spence Jakobi Spence 5’10” | 160 lbs | ATH Saguaro | 2024 State AZ plays both sides of the ball but has a future as a defensive back. Playing safety and in the slot in 2022, Spence was all over the defensive backfield. He has the physical mindset to play the run while working as the nickel cornerback making tackles in the backfield. Spence has sure hands making tough catches in traffic when working on offense. Spence is a player who can help Saguaro pull off a victory.
