Continue ReadingPrep Redzone Louisiana will release its updated 2026 rankings this week, with some notable new additions entering their sophomore seasons.
Leading up to the complete, 100-player list on Thursday, we will count down the top 30 in more detail.
And make sure to check back throughout the week following the release for additional features.
10. Antonio Gladney Antonio Gladney 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Parkway | 2026 State LA | 5-10, 175 ATH | Parkway
The budding Parkway star once again checks in with a top-10 spot. He remains arguably the most under-the-radar prospect in that mix, as stated in the initial rankings early this year, but has seen his recruitment kick off with his first college offer from Grambling State in May. The nearby Tigers are sure to be just the beginning of that process for the versatile weapon with smooth athleticism and a great feel for how to use his breaks and shifts in gear to consistently create space.
9. Jakai Anderson Jakai Anderson 6'0" | 160 lbs | WR McDonogh 35 | 2026 State LA | 6-0, 170 WR | McDonogh 35
The first of two top-10 debuts, Anderson flashed as one of the top standouts in the spring game between McDonogh 35 and Terrebonne with big plays on both sides of the ball, including a long pick-six. The Roneagles’ budding star has good height and length to his frame and is dynamic with the ball in his hands with his shifty elusiveness and explosive cuts to shake defenders and open up his breakaway speed. Georgia Tech, Memphis, Tulane, Grambling State, Troy, UTSA and Southern all extended offers in a 10-day span in May.
8. Blaine Bradford Blaine Bradford 6'2" | 205 lbs | DB Catholic (Baton Rouge) | 2026 State LA | 6-2, 195 DB | Catholic (Baton Rouge)
The Bears’ standout safety moves up one position during an offseason in which he continued to grow both his physique — now listed another 10 pounds bulked up — and his offer list — which includes the bulk of the nation’s top programs.. In addition to Bradford’s great size and length, he plays with great instinct, patience and physicality.
7. Brysten Martinez Brysten Martinez 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL East Ascension | 2026 State LA | 6-6, 280 OL | East Ascension
Coming in once again in the middle of the top 10 is the Spartans’ big tackle whose multisport athleticism from the basketball court show in his mobility on the football field. Florida State and Texas Tech have extended his first scholarship offers since the last rankings update, and LSU and others are closely watching his continued technical development.
6. Richard Anderson Richard Anderson 6'4" | 280 lbs | DL Edna Karr | 2026 State LA | 6-4, 280 DL | Edna Karr
The big defensive tackle was one of Louisiana’s first names on the radar for the 2026 class and has continued to live up to high expectations with his continued work on his conditioning, explosiveness and technique to ensure he’s not just a big body, but a disruptive athlete in the middle of the defensive front. His offer list now includes Louisiana (Lafayette), Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Arkansas State to go with LSU, Troy and Florida State.
5. Aiden Hall Aiden Hall 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Edna Karr | 2026 State LA | 6-2, 170 DB | Edna Karr
The Cougars land two of the top six rising sophomore in the latest rankings update with Hall holding strong in the top five once again. The young safety covers a lot of ground with his length, decisive breaks, speed and leap and can put opposing offenses quickly on their heels with his vision the other direction on his interceptions. Alabama State, Arkansas, Georgia, Oregon and Texas Tech have been the five most recent offers, nearly doubling a list that included LSU, Tulane, Ole Miss, Florida State, Duke and Troy before spring ball.
4. Jabari Mack Jabari Mack 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Destrehan | 2026 State LA | 6-0, 170 WR | Destrehan
“J Sizzle” remains Prep Redzone Louisiana’s highest-ranked skill player for the 2026 class after an active offseason of work at school, training and on the camp and 7-on-7 circuits. Mack is a big-time playmaker with his explosive releases and breaks, track speed and ball skills and athleticism in the air. And his offer list has continued to expand to reflect his talent with Penn State, Nebraska, Texas and California joining Tulane, UTSA and Mississippi State.
3. Darryus McKinley Darryus McKinley 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL Acadiana | 2026 State LA | 6-3, 225 DL | Acadiana
The younger brother of top-ranked 2024 prospect Dominick McKinley Dominick McKinley 6'5" | 275 lbs | DL Acadiana | 2024 State LA is the highest-ranked debut in this round of Prep Redzone Louisiana updates. Already with a long list of Power-Five offers of his own, Darryus stands tall — and, gauging by his father and brother, may well have some notable growth ahead — and shows great explosiveness in his get-off and a violent punch.
2. Lamar Brown Lamar Brown 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL University Lab | 2026 State LA | 6-4, 260 OL | University Lab
The standout two-way lineman holds steady at No. 2 in the rankings after an offseason that included state championship berth in the shot-put and discus to wrap outdoor track and field season and then strong performances on both sides of the ball at college camps throughout the summer.
1. Jahkeem Stewart Jahkeem Stewart 6'6" | 280 lbs | DL St. Augustine | 2026 State LA | 6-6, 280 DL | St. Augustine
No surprises atop the 2026 list, and none expected anytime soon. Stewart has been Louisiana’s headline prospect in the class for at least two years now and remains as such as he prepares for his first varsity season. Multiple college coaches who stopped by St. Augustine’s spring game against Madison Prep asked, “Who’s No. 90?” after being impressed by the college-ready physique and followed up, “THAT’S the freshman!?” From spring ball to the college camp circuit, Stewart showcased not only his eye-catching size, but an impressive combination of strength and quickness that gave older blockers fits.
