Not overly explosive but takes up space and demands attention off snap. Strong enough to push guys back. At his best as a run stuffer. Plays at a pad level that is a tad high at times which could be a great area for improvement. Athletic frame that shows range. Wins in one on ones and not scared of man coverage. Good feel for the football with ability to play the ball and not just the receiver. Not a burner speed wise but holds his on. Not necessarily long armed but compact frame with strength. Offensively shows potential as a next level route runner with technical skills as a wideout. Athletic ability shows thru the route and catch. Good speed that shows potential to separate. Defensively shows strong football IQ by getting where he is supposed to be with understanding. Harper shows ability to play with a hand in the ground or out wide. Pass catching type tight end. Not a foot race winner, but speed is serviceable and will allow him to get open with size he already possesses. Technical route runner that can bust the seam in a defense. Good hands. Changes directions well. Not dynamic athletically, but shows flashes and looks to be able to hold his own on that front down the road. Contributes in run game tackling. Seems to do a good job finding the football.
