St. John Bosco running back Cameron Jones Cameron Jones 6’2″ | 220 lbs | RB St. John Bosco | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to UCLA on July 2.
Jones ran for 1,046 yards on 121 carries with 18 touchdowns for the national champion Braves last season.
He chose UCLA over 10 other schools that offered him and he visited UCLA in late May.
Jones is the fourth player from Southern California in UCLA’s 2024 recruiting class.
Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula) quarterback Thomas Rosso Thomas Rosso 6’2″ | 155 lbs | QB Chadwick | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Fordham on July 4.
Rosso completed 68 percent of his passes for nearly 290 yards per game with 39 touchdowns and just three interceptions last season.
Chadwick is an 8-man football program, so it will be interesting to see how Rosso can adjust to 11-man football and a higher level of competition.
Fordham was the only school to offer Rosso, but he did the camp circuit at some of the Ivy League schools.
Long Beach Poly linebacker Dylan Williams Dylan Williams 6’3″ | 205 lbs | LB Long Beach Poly | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Oregon on July 7.
Williams was second on the team in tackles last season with 79 and 25.5 for a loss.
He was committed to USC after his sophomore season but withdrew his commitment in October.
Williams took visits to Michigan State, UCLA and Washington in addition to Oregon.
He is the sixth player from California in Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class.

Muir (Pasadena) safety Turran Williams Turran Williams 6’3″ | 190 lbs | DB John Muir | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Arizona on July 3.
Williams chose Arizona over four other schools that offered him including Boston College, Colorado State, Utah and Washington.
He is the seventh player from California in Arizona’s 2024 recruiting class.
