The most encouraging thing I see from most of the athletes in the conference is their commitment to the offseason grind. Pull up their Twitter accounts and watch their most recent camp videos and then their season highlights from a year ago. You will be impressed with the gains they have had this offseason!
The Castle Knights had a tremendous LB room last season and Gavin Leach Gavin Leach 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Castle | 2025 State IN is looking forward to leading the room this year. Gavin had 37 solo tackles, 75 assists, 112 total tackles, 5 TFLs, and 1 sack. This young man is a hard-hitting, relentless middle linebacker with immense upside. He plays with great pad level and footwork. Gavin shows off his speed while chasing down running backs in the backfield. His tackling makes him a great young linebacker prospect in the 2025 class. I look forward to watching Gavin Leach Gavin Leach 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Castle | 2025 State IN lead the linebacker room and stack another great season on top.
Timothy Wilkerson
Timothy Wilkerson
Timothy Wilkerson is a promising CB from Evansville Bosse Bulldogs. Timothy’s sophomore season consisted of 17 solo tackles, 10 assists, 27 total tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and 1 INT. I truly believe Timothy will be a great CB by his senior season and be ready to play ball at the next level. He shows tremendous speed and the ability to close ground quickly. This young man shows to be a physical tackler at times. Timothy Wilkerson is a young prospect to keep an eye out for these next two years.
Tizhaun Tomlinson
Tizhaun Tomlinson
Tizhaun Tomlinson is an intriguing WR prospect from Evansville Bosse. In 6 games, he had 23 receptions, 470 yards, averaging 78.3 yards per game, and 2 TDs. The first thing you notice when watching Tizhuan’s film is that he is a playmaker. Get the ball in this young man’s hands and watch him make the defenders look silly. He plays with tremendous athleticism and toughness. He makes a broken play into something positive when he has the ball. Tizhaun Tomlinson is a great 2025 WR prospect to keep an eye on this season.
Brooks Thomas Brooks Thomas 6’7″ | 240 lbs | TE Evansville Harrison | 2025 State IN is a rather large TE from Evansville Harrison. Brooks stands 6’7″ and 240 pounds and that is not a typo. He is a huge target for the Warriors and shows to be a reliable one for them. Brooks is a three-sport athlete, playing basketball and baseball. He may not be the best technically-sound TE but there is tons of promise for him at the position. What college TE coach does not want a 6’7″ TE that moves well? Just throw the ball up to him and watch him snag it over the defenders. In my opinion, Brooks Thomas Brooks Thomas 6’7″ | 240 lbs | TE Evansville Harrison | 2025 State IN is one of the most intriguing prospects in the SIAC and I am looking forward to watching him play this season.
